Fallout 2 is by far the strongest title in the Fallout series, and one of the better games of its type from its era of gaming. The story is strong, only rivaled by Fallout 1 within the 5 games that make up the Fallout series. Your village is dying, and you're sent out into the world to find the Holy G.E.C.K. to save your people. A world filled with gangs, slavery, drug use, the Enclave, and talking mechanical dogs modelled off Dr. Who's K9. The gameplay, while completely different than some may expect after playing FO3 or NV, is a vast improvement upon the system from 1. More weapons, more companions, no timelimit, and improved set pieces, while retaining what made Fallout 1 a good game.
If you don't have an issue with the obviously dated graphics, and a gameplay style that, sadly, is long dead this game is for you.

A simple premise, that becomes a mind bending but beautiful Adventure Puzzle game. You're a man who somehow, falling through a book, end up on the Island of Myst. No one is around, and theres nothing but a note sitting on the ground waiting for you. From here on you have to figure out the next place you need to go, and do, all with your own wits.
The game is difficult, but the beautiful scenery and the feeling of being totally alone keeps you playing. Game-wise, this version of the game is a sort of railed adventure game. That rail deviates and splits hundreds of times, but it keeps you from wandering off into the forest with no reason. Those who dislike that, there is another version entitled "Real Myst" which removes that rail and allows for free movement.
Graphic wise, I believe this game stands up even today. The graphics are sharp and beautiful, even today, despite the test of time.

Terraria brings in bit from different game types, mixes it up, and makes its own thing out of it. It's like Minecraft, but not Minecraft. It's like an adventure game, but its not an adventure game. These ingredients mix well and become their own thing. Don't go in expecting a Minecraft Clone, but expect to become addicted relatively quick.
