Feels like CS with modern feature set, great UX, and improved graphics. Love it.

A gorgeous game with an interesting mystery story and good RPG mechanics to make your way through it. Interesting characters and every quest is a web that you can miss something if not being attentive and thorough when advancing through the story.

The character tree is confusing at first and takes a while to get used to. I think the developers intended to do something different, rather than just follow the same cookie-cutter skill tree systems. So I welcome the experimentation, though it's a little weird and hard to get used to - I'm not completely there yet.

As a gamer who most enjoys games with a directed and linear narrative that focuses on compelling stories, I am usually starving for a good game to play. Games like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are rare these days. Games that focus on telling you a story rather than giving you an endless open world to play or some kind of ridiculous time-consuming multiplayer experience are difficult to find.

If you're like me, and you grew up playing games like Half-Life (1 & 2) and the Star Wars Jedi Knight series, and you miss playing games that are similar to those in nature: Then you will love Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Far and away the best experience in VR. I just want more.

More multiplayer maps.
I want a single-player campaign.
I want more mechs.
More interiors.

This is THE KILLER VR GAME that everyone has been wanting. Did you love Mechwarrior? Then this VR game is pulled straight from your dreams.

TL;DR: Story isn't as good as TNO but still fun to play through, ending is a bit lame. Gunplay is the best out there, stealth works OKAY most of the time. I experienced no performance issues or bugs in the game.

There seems to be a lot of negative reviews talking about bugs and issues with the game, so I thought I'd jump in and say I have had ZERO issues running the game. Running on an older machine (Intel i7 950, Nvidia GTX 970) with all settings on the highest availabe setting except for a few "uber" settings which are reserved for the latest and greatest and the game has absolutely no framerate drops ANYWHERE in the game. I'm incredibly impressed with its performance. I also haven't run into any weird bugs in the game. Honestly I've been surprised now that I'm jumping online and seeing other people running into even minor issues, because it's been flawless for me.

On a less technical note, the game's story suffers a bit when comparing it to The New Order. Although the game has a few elements throughout the story that I do feel attached to, like BJ's relationship with Onya and his injury from the beginning of the game, pretty much all of the side characters, the miscellaneous writings you find throughout the story, all of that keeps me enjoying the game. But the main story is missing something, and the ending in particular is somewhat weak, but I think the rest of the elements throughout the game kind of make up for what I think is a less emotional story than the previous game. It seems like Machine and id were going for a more exaggerated style in the setting and the tone, which made it harder for me to find some of the characters and situations believable. In conclusion with the story, I loved a lot of the writing throughout, although I think the main overarching story is weaker than The New Order.

The movement, shooting, weapons, all of that is the tip top. If you want the best feeling shooter, this is it. There aren't any other shooters out there that feel better than this.

The art, design, levels are absolutely incredible. I think this is one of the best looking games on the market right now. It's beautiful, things are clever and designed well and rendered well. As a 3D artist in the game industry myself, I'm envious of the artists that got the opportunity to work on this game.

I recommend this game to anyone who misses linear single-player games with stories that are trying to draw you in and characters that matter and each having their own story. If you miss games like Half-Life 1&2, then Wolfenstein 2 is what you need to play.

I enjoy open world games and multiplayer games, too - but the games I always enjoyed the most; the linear story-driven FPS games, have seemingly disappeared from the market. Game publishers and developers seem to believe there is no customer for this type of game, but this is almost the only type of game I give any of my free time and money to.

Amazing modern rendition of THE classic First Person Shooter. I wish they expanded on the Single-Player, as the Multi-Player may be enjoyable for others, it feels too much like Halo to me. All the DLC that released was Multi-Player only. Though the Single-Player that is there, is awesome.

I love Quake. I'm sure mine is a familiar story - I've been playing this game since childhood.

If you're looking for a game that is so satisfying, but also not easy for anyone to master, Quake Live is the game for you. This is by far, the most difficult game to get good at. And I mean that in every possible good way.

There are other more casual modes that are easier to pick up and play, like instagib freeze tag, Clan Arena, etc. But some of the other, more classic modes, are incredibly difficult but SO satisfying once you get good enough to put up a fight.

For me, it's all about competitive pick up CTF - and of course DUEL.

Duel is where a large chunk of the difficulty comes into play. In order to win a match, you must control your opponent. You do that by timing item pickup times. Red armor and Yellow armor respawn every 25 seconds, Mega Health is every 35 seconds. Getting a stack so that you're able to attack or defend against your opponent - or getting enough of a stack so you can fight for other resources and positions on the map, is exactly what makes Quake so skill based and tactics based.

People might look at Quake and think it's just a shooter. But it's a thinking game. And I honestly believe that because I'm an AVERAGE-skilled player in Quake, that is why I do so well in other shooters. Because other shooters just can't compare to the sheer speed of everything in Quake. You have to react so quickly, think quickly, know where your opponent currently is or is going to be, and be accurate and position yourself intelligently when you fight.

This game is all about preparation for each encounter. And how to react if you're not prepared. And the skill of the other player FORCES that upon you.

I love this game. Not because it is easy, but because it is hard.

I've been playing this game since the closed Alpha. At first glance, most people assume it's like MechWarrior, simply because there are mechs. But the similarities stop at the Mechs.

If you enjoy games like Unreal Tournament, Quake 3 Arena, Tribes, and other Arena-style shooters, you will love Hawken. This game melds Arena style gameplay with class customization and special item use. And with modes like DM, TDM, Missile Assault, and Siege, it's not likely you'll get tired of it right away.

Again, I love this game. Like I said, I've been playing it since the Alpha, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon.
