I saw a review with the following:
If you've ever played SimCity and thought, "I wish they made a follow-up to this," play SimCity 2000.

If you've ever played SimCity 2000 and thought, "I wish they made a follow-up to this," play SimCity 3000.

If you've ever played SimCity 3000 and thought, "I wish they made a follow-up to this," play SimCity 4.

If you've ever played SimCity 4 and thought, "I wish they made a follow-up to this," play Cities: Skylines.

If you've ever played Cities: Skylines and thought, "I wish they made a follow-up to this," play Cities: Skylines with mods.

This is the most accurate thing I think I have ever seen. This game just wins on all levels.

Early Access Review
As someone who has played MTG for years along with Hearthstone this is much more in-depth than HS and is very akin to MTG. This makes it a large win in my book. Tons of ways to win plus drafts and more.

I bought this game as soon as I could. The possibilites are endless with this. The rollouts of the new states and trucks have been hard to wait for but I feel like this game is in for the long haul (no pun intended.) IF we are patient and let them build things the steam workshop mods alone are adding so many new things that the game is fun. You have to like the idea of driving down the road for long stretches keeping your rig between the paint, if that isn't your idea of fun, find another game because that is what this is. There are varing levels of expertise. If you want to run automatic shifting, do it. If you want to purchase or buy a real 18 shifter, go for it. You want to build hundreds of buttons to make a dash like a real rig? DO IT. Want to attach your trailers and park them? It's there. Want the game to do it for you, that's there too. There is so much to love and hate about this game that I can't wait for the next release!
