Didn\'t know this was DLC til halfway through, but that just made The Old Blood more impressive. I cannot wait to play the main game (The New Order) soon.

Seriously, if you\'re a fan of straight-up cool shooters this is a must-buy.

Do I recommend this game? Yes.

Do I recommend it at 23.99€ (or your regional equivalent)? No. Get it on sale if you can.

[So what is Frozen Synapse Prime?]

Essentially it's a turn-based game where each player takes their turn simulataneously. The pieces (soldiers) are set, their movfed choreographed and the round is then played out. The aim is to kill the other team before they kill you. It's very tactical and a lot of fun as you squirm in your seat, hoping the enemy team didn't place a sniper around the next corner.

With friends it's a really great time.

Get it if you're looking for something like this, but as I said, make sure it's on sale.

Excellent addition to the Dishonored mythos.

I am pleasantly surprised by this title. I bought it expecting a competent but unoriginal strategy game, and thankfully I was wrong.

Ultimate General: Gettysburg [\b] is a great game. The mechanics work very well at providing a challenging but rewarding experience as it punishes you enough to keep you motivated but not enraged. Those unfamiliar with strategy games should beware, however, as the learning curve is quite steep.

Due to this, I would have liked to see a greater emphasis on difficulty customisation (despite the game being based on real-world battles). Some may despise the morale system and find it too challenging, yet they cannot do anything to help it. I personally keep to the lower difficulties and still find myself frantically moving troops and crossing my fingers.

In short:

- Challenging and original gameplay
- Cool subject matter
- Mechanically sound
- Atmospheric soundtrack
- Runs on my laptop
- Aesthetically pleasing
- Fun (arguably the most important)

but:

- Lacks a lot of difficulty customisation
- Steep learning curve
- No in-game tutorial (all done in short menu videos)

Overall:

I love it. At the low, low price of 12€ (or your regional equivalent) you may want to consider purchasing it.

P.S. As of now (according to Steam) I have only 0.8 hours on record. That is utter nonsense. I have put a solid 4 hours into this game already.

+ Lore is interesting (if you're into that)
+ Satisfying difficulty
+ Combat is solid
+ Exploration is encouraged and rewarding
+ It's quite fun
+ Enemies are varied and challenging

Cons:
- Unplayable with keyboard and mouse
- Games for Windows Live DRM
- Conneciton issues common

Got into a server.
Found some beans.
Jumped off a wall and broke my leg.
Attacked by zombie.
Guy saves me.
Gives me bandages.
Kills me and loots my corpse.

Great racer. It looks lovely, has a great soundtrack and the handling on the cars works very well. My only complaint is that the city seems quite small at times and it can feel like you're caged in. Multiplayer can be quite fun, but a lack of variety in MP means it can become quite stale after a couple of hours.

Fun with friends, but quite boring by yourself. Also, the game can be quite dead at times with few people online. However, if you get into a decent server with a couple of friends it's worth a look.

Fantastic game, especially with friends. Although some may claim that it's Pay To Win, it's really not. The starting guns are fine and are easily upgradable after a few hours of gameplay (which flies by). The only real problem is the insane amount of large updates (8GB sometimes). Oftentimes I have had to leave the launcher on overnight. Although it says I have over 80hrs played, about half of that was actual gameplay. The rest was just waiting, but if you have a fast internet connection it hsouldn't be a problem.
