Great idea, varied things to do from building, gathering fighting and leveling, but with one massive flaw... the method of retention. Like many games that to try and maintain player retention, they incorporate limited time events, resource management, or time based maintenance tasks. In THIS game, it forces you to not skip more than a few days at a time, and if you do, well, kiss your hard earned castle build goodbye! Litereally, all your work just poofs into thing air... you character remains, your character level, gear and skills unlocked. But you no longer have a home base which takes a lot of time and effort to build.

This is very insidious in my mind. I tried to live with it. But I have a job that sometimes makes me travel for 1-4 weeks at a time. I cannot bring my deskop PC, I do not have a gaming laptop, and I do not have a method of streaming steam games. Therefore people like me have NO CHOICE except to not play games for a few weeks at a time due to work.

This game favors only the most obsessed, dedicated and players who can spend nonstop time or have the ability to log in/play remotely. Sad, i liked how the game works, but due to this, i cannot "generally" recommend this game to the general consumer. To the most hardcore of players who do not take vacations, do not leave time for more than a couple days for work, or have mobile or remote access to the game, I would say, this is a hard pass.

I feel they missed a huge market base of players for this game, but being a smaller studio, I assume they decided they had to focus on only one segment of the market. I had about 3 months of playing go poof after paying for the game. Until i'm retired, and never leave the house in like 40 years, this kind of game is not practical for progression's sake. Bummer!

Short, but challenging. fantastic art style, moody feel, smooth and fast action!
