I've managed to resolve the lag and other visual issues people had playing on a windows 10 PC, using dgVoodoo. I've written guide on how to do it, which is still in the approval process, however, there are plenty of general video guides online that should give you the gist of how to do it.

Start playing to know what the hell is going on, keep playing because it is just that good.

A solid metroidvania, with a nice depth of systems. Should you want to fully 100% the game (i.e. max rank shards, full recipe list, etc.), it promises to be quite grindy, but so far, it does not seem necessary to do that to fully enjoy the game.

I have played this game on and off again for the last 5 years, and each time I came back to it, there were many new updates and things to do. This game is incredibly well supported, with an active and supportive community. Moreover, the pace of the game is well-thought out, not overwhelming you with all mechanics at once, but also with very few slow-downs (at least, compared to other Idle games), there's always something to work toward.

Edit: As apparently the only game I actually have that came out in 2022, I need to update this review (need to get that badge). It got Elden Ring beat in that regard, so let that speak for itself.

Dark souls, the game that served as benchmark for all games of its kind. Hard, but fair. If you died, it was probably your own fault, and now you knew how to account for it next time.

I'm not going to say anything except that you must play it, for fear of spoiling the story. Also, this is the only free game that I've bought the DLC for, purely to support the developers.

Nice game, with a good story. The main story isn't all that long, roughly 12-13 hours, but seeing the activity on the Community Workshop, I'm guessing that the real longlevity of the game lays there.

This is a solid point'n'click adventure game, with lots of jokes and pop culture references. The puzzles are not too hard, and you can press the spacebar to see all the interactable objects on the screen. You can get through the game pretty quickly, but it's more fun if you explore all dialog options and item descriptions.

If you liked the previous instalments, you will like this one as well. It follows the same formula as the previous games, but now in a different setting, with a bit more story and various game types. Some bridges can be challenging, but if you're stuck, there are enough guides to consult.

Amazing game. It really shows how you can tell a good story without needing life-like graphics. It also works the toturial into the story seamlessly.

Lastly, the levels do not end after you finish the game. After you finish it, go to the level select, and start the lowest level, which says 'locked', it should give you some extra story and gameplay. Enjoy!
