I'm still not sure how the hell I got this many hours in, and still find new things. Not just from mods, but the base game and its official DLC. While other games on the market may do certain aspects better, I can think of nothing that blends them all together finer than ArmA.

Picked it up from watching Liru online, have been through each campaign and several communities since, but it's been worth every penny.

Plane go WOOSH. Cast and devs are CHILL. And while everyone wants to marry Prez I will be marrying my F-14 sorry Prez.

Never played anything like it. A truly unique city-builder, where your enemy is not a rival nation, but the envrionment... and yourselves. Only real downside is that, after you've finished the various maps, the replay-ability does go down a bit. But even if you don't get the DLC, the main game alone is very worth the price. Going to replay every winter for years to come.

Nothing like hours and hours of playing the Sims, then being brutally reminded you are in Fallout as a pair of deathclaws attack your settlement, followed by the game crashing to desktop.

Solid 9/10, needs more Cazadores.

Years later, and it still a barely held together display of wasted potential. I had such high hopes for this, and it really did look and feel fantastic... but in the end, the devs just never finished the darn thing. Just threw up their hands and walked away. And that's sad, since there was a glimmer of true wonder in here.
