Sonic & All-Stars Racing is a very cool game. You can race on multiple racing levels that cause you to perform over air, water, and ground. Unlock the levels and additional characters as progress through the game. Each character is from a video game or cartoon.

Graphics are very nice and are exciting to behold as you race the track. Controls are tight and easy to control your racer.

Play alone or with a friend. Awesome game and highly recommended.

i purchased this game for around $2 and it really pretty fantastic. You are in the zone of a top down shooter, displacing enemies reminiscent of Galaga the old 80's game. The twist here is that you must practice your typing in order to launch a powerful canon necessary to destroy some of the harder enemies.

Graphics are a colorful neon and quite beautiful to look at. Sound and music is apropos to the visuals and quite effective.

So far I love this game. I have played it on the Atari VCS and the PC. Danger Scavenger is a twin stick shooter. Move your character around, dodge the incoming fire and PvE damage, and take out the enemies. If you have ever played Yars, Black Widow, and other twin stick shooter you will be right at home among the carnage.

The graphics are very nice, sort of remind me of the game The Descent.

Sound and music are very suitable to this game.

Highly recommended, especially if you can get it around $5.

ShapeNeon Chaos is a twin stick shooter featuring an entirely bullet game mechanics. Various powerups are gifted to you the longer you manage to stay alive. Graphics are very colorful with fantastic explosions seen all over the screen as you take out the incoming projectiles and enemy waves.

Sound and music is also apropos to the on screen action.

This is a frantic old school like shooter where you simply turned off the brain and shoot for a while. It works great on any QWERTY keyboard or xbox like controller.

Yars: Recharged is an update to an old Atari 2600 classic. A twin stick shooter, best played with a controller. Play mechanics are exceedingly difficult to describe. You play as a dragon fly that either must shoot or nibble through the opposing enemy shields in order to exploit their weaknesses.

Avoid oncoming projectiles, you must tunnel to the weak spot in each stage - ultimately taking out the main enemy canon. You must collect yellow orbs to charge your super weapon which is the only way to deliver the killing blow.

You are aided by multiple powers up that must be used strategically. Blocks and shields of varying intensity seek to thwart your best efforts. The game ranges from a bullet hell to a thoughtful way that must be applied against the 30 levels to be encountered.

Graphics are spectacular and vibrant. With satisfying explosions that are often beautiful to behold. Music and sound likewise are also fantastic and super cool for such a simple, yet challenging game.

Various bonus/challenge rounds also await you that can be unlocked as you progress,

Highly recommended!

Early Access Review
Turbo Overkill is a very difficult game. It's very fast paced (which I love), Serious Sam like but set in a Blade Runner dystopia future. This atmosphere permeates the entire game's universe. Get ready to do a lot of dodging, strafing, chainsaw sliding, and constantly moving to the point of paranoia.

Graphics are awesome and are well defined, with a tip of the hat to old school shooters with some pixelization happening here and there.

Sound and music are fitting for the game Low key and appropriate. Nothing spectacular just adequate and sometimes great.

I recommend the game although some of the platforming in the later levels are too demanding in my opinion and make you want to quit and stop trying. If you can stomach this weakness in the game then it is well worth the hectic and frantic play style which I find exhilarating..

Dusk is a 1st person shooter inspired by the likes of Quake both in visual style and level design. It takes place in a fictitious town of Dusk, Pennsylvania. It is fast paced with non-regenerating health and a bevy of weapons ranging from dual wielding shotguns, double barrel shotgun, dual wielding pistols, scythes', a mortor, rifle, and an exploding rivet gun.. among others.

The game is excellent for those who remember both Doom and Quake's frantic twitchy finger play style. Homage to the 90's FPS is evident throughout. Dusk uses the Unity engine and is one of the best examples of what that engine can do.

Graphics are low res by design, yet.. very exotic and colorful at times. They match the Lovecraft like atmosphere very well.

Sound and music are there but are also low fidelity, again an homage to the 90's shooters.

I really like the game. There are three episodes, each containing multiple missions, to go through. There is also a multiplayer PvP mode for up to 16 players.

I highly recommend this game to all those who like old school FPS!

Quake updated with the Kex Engine and brought to a glorious, fast, and beautiful upgrade to modern systems while retaining the original look and feel to the 90's classic. I was never good with Quake and only played it briefly back in the 90's but I was impressed by it and preferred it over Doom (personally).

All the original levels are here, along with expansion levels and downloadable content. You can even play the original DOS like classic if you like upon start of the game!

Graphics, like I said - are old school but sharp nonetheless on the higher resolution displays. The game just runs fast, which I love.

Music is techno grind, I believe by NiN musician Trent Reznor and sounds great. Sound effects are old school but apropos to the action and are satisying.

Multiplayer is available for some PvP action, though I have not tried this out yet.

Gauntlet! The old arcade game revamped and brought kicking and screaming to the modern era. This game plays with 3 characters - Warrior, Magician, and a Valkyrie. A fourth character is available on DLC (Necromancer). Each character has their own unique abilities and attacks. Equipment and magic can be purchased and upgraded for new or enhanced abilities for your characters provided the gold you can acquire during the game. Co-op support for up to 4 players is provided and is actually the best way to play the game as some levels are difficult for a single player though not impossible. Game mechanics resemble the classic arcade in many ways, making in familiar and comfortable to those who played previous Gauntlet games.

Graphics are a top down 3D render and are beautiful. Great use of colors, player/character/object physics are applied with ragdoll effects. Superb!

Music is low key but very nice. Sound effects are excellent to the objects and attacks being employed. Character commentary is often very humorous.

Can be played with a keyboard or xbox or similar controller (preferred).

Highly recommended!

Stax is similar to the old Atari Lynx game Klax. Incoming blocks must be put away into corresponding slots of similar blocks that match their color - be it vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. In fact, some levels require you to place the blocks in certain fashion in order to progress to the next round, requiring forethought and planning.. and is difficult as later levels come at you pretty fast.

Graphics are colorful with a mixture of a 3D background and a static playing surface. While nothing to get too excited about they are pleasing to the eye and serve their purpose wonderfully.

Sound and music are very nice, and suitable to the game and play style.

Best used with a xbox or similar controller but the keyboard can be used.

Very much recommended!
