This game is hilariously fun- CRAZY in level design, the sheer amount of guns and enhancements and stacking; up to 6 combos; shotgun, SMG, chainsaw, etc - all firing at once in glorious absurdity.. CRAZY and ABSURD enemy types - flying kittens with acid, Femikaze bombers, huge chimps, whatever a bizarre imagination is capable of: it is here. Time travel, Egypt, Nova Scotia with Canadian enemies (why not), and others. Excellent graphics and visual effects, bizarre details and tongue in cheek comedy, with Sam "Serious" Stone at the helm. Beward, the game throws enemies at you in glorious numbers with body parts flying everywhere in awesome 2D visuals. Recommended.

This game, now about 10 years old of the time of this review, still holds up. Good 3D engine (UnReal), good background ambient audio and voice over, and nice level design that adds to the overall tense atmosphere of being aboard a failing ship called the Leopold. It slowly introduces the new alien types and along with hidden logs throughout the levels. You can pick up credits to upgrade gear, purchase items, or save your game at accompanying terminals. Good ARPG with an rotating isometric view which takes a little to get use to but is worth it. Recommended with or without a friend to play with.

Sporting a nice 3D engine called Kex, the game plays like a dream.. very smooth, retro feel throughout along with accompanying audio. Fantastic level design. It's not earth shattering but for those looking for a smooth and updated experience on a new take of an old classic, Doom, this is for you. Recommended!

Sacred 3 is an isometric/top-down ARPG with hilarious dialog, cheeky references to adult material, a multiple powerups, skills, equipment, and spirits to be acquired and utilized. Players can join in via co-op whether it is a public forum or private or by invitation alone. Visuals are still stunning despite the game's now aged 3D engine and ragdoll physics are present everywhere. Despite some negative reviews I see very little to personally complain about except for the odd controls here and there. Otherwise, recommended!

It was 2009, my 9 year old daughter and I were playing the Nintendo Wii when I found this game, first chapter really, on the Wii's downloadable online games library. It was just released and I couldn't believe it!! A new series of games developed from Telltale Games of my 80's and 90's favorite Monkey Island series! I couldn't believe they were continuing the lore. The game is visually impressive, sports a serviceable 3D interface amd style with some 2D hand drawn backgrounds, the ever wonderful music that Monkey Island is know for (i.e. Michael Land), devilishly - tongue in cheek humor, often hilarious and quite clever. Highly recommended!

Hilarious, glitchy, old, open world, multiple choices, 'demonic' - but happy - goat, let loose to wreck havoc on unsuspecting, good religious folk who are perusing around any good 'ol American town. Want to knock a couple off a water front deck who appear to be enjoying the view??! No problem, headbutt the lovebirds into the icky waters below that they deserve!! Wanna lick a power pole?! No problem, your tongue - set on fire by the powers of hell - will do your bidding and see what happens next! Or do you just want to play a game that has no purpose whatsoever?? O Than, highly recommended!! Especially for $3 which is a steal when you can command ♥♥♥♥♥'s second in command; The Goat Simulator!!

Despite somewhat negative reviews and impressions from other players, I really like the game. Yes, it is now an old game, but remarkably the visuals have considerably held up in 2021, with various impressive details the developers put into the game as evidence in both the backdrop of the various terrain you move along in and the chatter from your NPC companions. The storyline is somewhat open world, allowing different choices in your dialog that will affect the lore of the game overall. It's not an earth shattering, but very enjoyable and even worth a second go around just to see how things evolve if you did things differently or played another character. The only main downside is that the co-op is not well thought out.. despite the fact that your second co-op friend has a different computer, you are still restricted to a single shared screen; maddening. Recommended!

Mechs in space! You get to choose from a variety of different [space] mech warriors with different abilities. Good heart pumping action, great music score, and 2D scrolling/parallel mixed with 3D background visuals are brilliantly done. Action is non-stop. Oh, this game essentially has to be played by a controller,, I don't think the keyboard here would be quite as enjoyable or intuitive. Recommended!

Only 5 hours (at this time) of gaming but I am thoroughly impressed with this early access/in-progress work of a game - and it is awesome if you like old school 90's (ish) FPS games. The pixelated graphics are fantastic, the action insane, the map levels (apparently, mostly, community created) are diverse. Sound is very satisfying and the music is heart thumping brilliant. Controls and movement are silky smooth; a most in any FPS game. I am really looking forward to more levels (which you can vote on when you complete them) and the finished product.

Still early in this game but so far it is really impressive. I have not played the first game (yet) but this game offers weapons galore, modifications to those weapons in both enhancements and visual style. Being able to summon a mech, jump and run on walls, awesome dialog/voice actors, and a vibrant multiplayer community. The 3D engine is smooth and combat has a nice tactical feel to it - giving you the options to explore with creative ease in how you approach your play style. Recommended!
