An awesome game with a few tricks and twists to the storyline that make it unforgettable. The graphics have been enhanced for the remastered version with support for 4k. Music is old fashion and adds to the atmosphere of the game. I really can't say enough about this game and sorry for the short review but I had to post something. Enjoy and highly recommended

Serious Sam meets Lovecraft. Lots and lots of strafing, running, gunning, and dodging all kinds of projectiles. Enemies are straight out of a Lovecraft novel, scary looking in all their 2D bitmap glory. Plenty of guns are to be had with lots upgrades to both the weapons themselves and enhanced skill sets to black/white magic capabilities.

Graphics:
3D with lots of 2D bitmaps splashed around for detail. Enemies are grotesque in all their bitmap glory. Very retro. Think Doom in the early 90's.

Sound/Music:
Scary. The tempo for the music increased when enemies are nearby. Sound from the enemies are also very unsettling.

Overall, I highly recommend the game to all FPS shooters out there, especially those looking for a retro experience.

The Dead Space remake. An awesome game that follows closely to the original 2008 version but allowing new places to explore. All the weapons are here waiting to be discovered rather then purchased as in the original game.

Graphics:
Beautiful and scary. The halls are brooding and the atmosphere is drenched with palpable fear. I love it.

Audio:
Music is muted and the atmospheric sounds in the environment are brought out in full effect. Walking through a hallway and listening for creatures is a treat.

The only thing I miss is the train between levels. The scary sound it made at the end of each level.

Otherwise, highly recommended!

I will not comment on the 1st version Metro Exodus unless required to. This version is the same except with updated graphics and raytracing elements.

Depending on the DLC you are playing the protagonist changes; such as Artyom or Sam. The year is 2035, two years after the first events of the first game.

This game is more of an open sandbox whereas the 1st two games were much more linear. You are given quite a bit more breathing room with more intelligent enemies and unique landscapes to explore. Again, choices matter and can affect the story line substantially.

This time around you can construct and enhance your own weaponry via a backpack or better yet a work bench.

There are quite a few surprises in this game, some borderline scary.

Graphics: Again, it is hard to tell where the graphic tiles begin and end. Every place looks and feels unique. With this version, you have the option of raytraced graphics.

Sound: Again, very little music and more concentration is exacted on the environment for the nice immersive feel.

Overall, highly recommended!

Fantastic game... rugged and rusty graphics and environments adds to the apocalyptic dystopian future where people live under ground to avoid the radiated topside.

As the protagonist you are conferred with the responsibility to take care of the last surviving member of your race against strange black humanoid creatures that only you are not affected by.

Graphics: As mentioned above, there appears to almost be no repeating texture and it suits the gaming atmosphere of a future where humans live underground after a nuclear attack.

Sound: Music is almost non-existent. Instead, you are treated to a nice ambient sound that murmurs down the train tracks you must utilize. Sound is excellent.

All in all a good game but with a difficult ending to reach for the "good" ending. It requires multiple replays to get everything right and even then a good gaming guide.

Overall, highly recommended!

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a masterful game where the main antagonists is Wilhelm Deathshead Strasse, or just simply Deathshead (one look at his face and you will know why the nickname). Dispersed between scenes of intense fighting are some of the industries best cinematic moments. The protagonists is William J. Blazkowicz (voice by Brian Bloom) , a Jewish but American southern man from Texas who appears to be chiseled out of stone. The aforementioned is awesome in his role (in all he game in the series actually).

The sound is very satisfying and rich and full. Like wise the music bounces between a grungy ambiance to a full fledged musical score always pertaining to the scene at hand.

Graphics, even for today' standard, are still awesome and visually stunning.

All and all, I highly recommend this game!

Serious Sam Fusion is available to all those who own one or more Serious Sam games (Up to Serious Sam 3). It gives you upgraded options and the ability to access all your base games, including DLCs. They have also upped the ability to run the games in DirectX11, DirectX12, or Vulkan (which I prefer)... giving you the latest gaming API's.

I will not comment on the individual games themselves here but this is a great way of playing all that you own from a single interface with updated tech.

Highly recommended!

Bullet sponge hell is the best way to describe this game, or at least how I play it. The game is primarily on rails but it doesn't feel like it. Still, a very fun and atmospheric game with great voice acting.

Graphics: Spectacular. Lot's of attention to detail Creative bossess and enemy types to keep you on your toes.

Sound and music: Very fitting. Like I said before the voice acting is awesome. Really does feel like the old west with some cyberpunk elements thrown in.

You play Rentier with a mechanized glove that allows for awesome melee attacks, along with a shot gun, Rail gun (later), and a rifle. Expect a lot of dodging and weaving in the game.

My only complaint is the over the should look is hard to force to turn around and attack enemies from behind.

Great game to add to your collection if you are hardcore.

What can I say?!? It is Missile Command.. "Re-Recharged". Atari had made a recharged Missile Command back in 2020. While it was good it was rather simple graphically. Atari has released a new updated "Recharged" game that replace the former, although users who purchase the former will still have access to it as well.

The mission of the game is to prevent, as long as possible, the raining missiles from reaching your cities and blaster silo's. There are also smart bombs, ufo ships of many kinds that fire a payload of different sorts, not to mention the ground tanks. You will eventually lose this gamble, but provided you received a high score you will be placed in the global highscore chart and a comparison of your score against you friends.

The can be controlled either by a gamepad or mouse/keyboard. I prefer the latter.

The graphics are fantastic and faithful to the original game. Atari really did go for a pleasant revamped Missile Command.

Sound and music are excellent, nothing to complain about and is apropos to the action and setting(s).

My only complaint is I wish the alien ships explode in a dance of fireworks, or something like that compared to the now which simply erases them from the screen. This is a minor complaint, however..

Absolutely recommended!

Afterburn is a behind the aircraft shooter. Sporting frequent new missions to play against other players in a race for the highest score. You are rewarded for your flying expertise. With the ability to apply some miner adjustments to your craft to help suit your playing style.

Graphics are very good and apparently a little blocky to reflect older games look and feel.

Audio is very good, with satisfying explosions letting you know that you scored a kill. The destruction of cargo ships is especially appealing.

All in all I recommend this game. It is very fun.
