Starbound is a great game to play with friends when you're bored. The modding community is a mixed bag, with plenty of joke mods and plenty of lore-friendly, almost entirely new expansions onto the game, you're bound to find something that will entertain you with this game.

Stardew Valley is an incredible well made game, with plenty of content to keep you entertained.
Wanna dive into the depths of an infinite mine?
Wanna experience the lives and stories of several extremely unique characters?
Wanna spend hours a day farming crops that you likely didn't even know existed until now?
Wanna... spend 5 minutes fishing before you get annoyed at how fishing in this game works?
Then Stardew Valley is for you!

As a person, I never got to play the original half-life. As for why, I simply didn't have the time nor the effort to go out and get it. But this has made me realize the errors of that decision. I have seen playthroughs on youtube of the original, and thought to myself, "Hmm... this game looks good... but not good enough." Then this came along. This beautiful remastered version. I have played through and the only thing that I have noticed missing is the final chapter of the game (which I am sure the developer is currently working on it as it is a crucial part to the storyline).

I have noticed a few bugs with my playthrough. None that made it horrible or impossible, but just made it seem a little less real. I noticed that headcrabs would sometimes jump towards me then walk away or a marine absolutely spam the crap outta the grenades. Physics bugs here and there but all in all it didn't break. Great game.

POST ZEN UPDATE:
I can confirm that the new Zen levels are really great, though older systems may experience some framerate issues while there. They are completely new, with few similarities to the old game. Instead of drab brown and grey lands that all look nearly identical, you get much more varied and colorful environments.

I must go ahead and state this, though: The gameplay on Zen is drastically harder than anything you may experience in the labs themselves, and it's less an issue of the AI like with the military, but an issue of the aliens being either overwhelming in number, or positioned in ways where they can shoot at you while you try and move through the level. Otherwise it's pretty good.

And with a change in how I view games, I'm changing my rating of the game to an 7/10. It's still good fun, but it can be a bit... repetitive at times, especially when the enemies in certain segments are all the same.

So garry's mod is a sandbox simulator with thousands of addons created by random people to do random things. Of these addons include the ever so famous gamemodes. If you decide to play garry's mod in sandbox, your going to get bored quite quickly, unless you have half a million addons and a ton of friends. This game is fun. Online is awesome. Servers are... meh... But the gamemodes are what makes it. Recommended: Yes.
