I'd overall recommend as I enjoyed the game. The atmosphere was great, only a few questions left unanswered but I don't mind. My only complaint is that there didn't feel like much incentive to explore other than just for explorations sake.

Don't listen to the review bombers. They're just people who aren't smart enough to understand what they're talking about being fearmongered by a handful of content creators who aren't smart enough to know what they're riling people up about.

Pretty solid game so far, a little buggy but that's the nature of fresh releases. A lot more content just available to you than I'd expect in a typical F2P. Nothing P2W in my few hours of experience. Definitely worth your time.

I hate jump scares. They're cheap, never done well, and the horror equivalent to making fart noises with your mouth as "comedy". That being said, this game is excellent. Can't wait to see what this can become.

As someone who likes the game I feel the need to fight back against the negative review brigading. The game is fun and has an interesting story, don't listen to the "set up a fence and poke" reviews as that is only 1 way to play the game. Bows are OP and spears are some of the weakest weapons comparatively. Ignore the moral busybodies virtue signalling with all of the konami hate

If you remove this game from the controversy between konami and kojima, it's actually pretty solid. There's some UI polish that could be done and some QoL changes but so far what is here is good and enjoyable. Would recommend playing with friends. My only complaint is that of weapon balance, handguns are decent but get too few bullets, bows have too much arrow drop making ranged combat difficult and do lackluster damage compared to even the starter handgun.

Ignore all of the whiney ♥♥♥♥♥ going on about microtransactions. They're cosmetics, the proceeds go to charity and to a prize pool for a community event, and they offer no advantage. The game is a blast, it's pretty well optimized, it still has some bugs but no game breaking bugs. The game gets more and more enjoyable with every patch. I'd recommend this to anyone, even if you're not into shooters.

Lot of fun, DLC adds a lot, mods add more.

- Massive worlds, albiet a little devoid
- Decent UI

Cons
- Ship controls and pathing could be better
- A little stuttering, nothing too horrible
- Doesn't alt tab;Use steam overlay browser
- Have to restart game for graphics settings to change

All in all it's fun so far, I'll keep playing, hopefully you don't listen to the more whiney, thoughtless reviews and pick this game up. Runs easily, with minimal stutter, on my R9 390 and 4790k

Tried 3 different servers, disconnected within a minute from all 3 and told I have to wait to connect back each time. I shouldn't need to port forward just to be able to play at all. I'd recommend it to someone if I knew what the game was actually like....

Join game as m3 lee, fight Panther that 2 shot you. Start getting thr hang of it, get 2 shot at spawn. 1/10, deleting and regretting ever having had wasted money on this imbalanced game.
