Sometimes, we think that we've become numb to the things going on around us. We think that we've felt everything there is to feel, as if the emotions that once wracked our souls will never again move us. Flickers of buried sorrow and forgotten happiness remain ephemeral in the midst of our battered hearts, torn asunder by the whirlwind of life. And yet, numb as we may be, there come times when we find it -- a spark. It can be something profound, or even something utterly mundane. What matters is that it starts, cascades, and crashes. Before we even know it, we find ourselves overwhelmed with emotions, with feelings, with life.

Until Then is a game about finding that spark. For me, the game itself is a spark. I had thought that there was nothing else left for me to feel. But the world hasn't ended just yet. And so long as it hasn't, so long as we're here and trying, even failing -- so long as it isn't over, there might be hope for us yet.
