Brilliant game that only gets better and better in later levels. Just buy it! And then play Dusk too which is even better

Phenomenal if you customise it with your own clips and sound effects, a game that is equally fun with friends or even with your family

Beware! This game is actually incredible....however in order to get to any of the good stuff you have to play through over 200! levels of pretty unfun puzzle gameplay and a soundtrack that is leagues below what you're used to from Zero Ranger. However, if you can get through all that the rewards are huge and the game totally transforms.

Fantastic pixel art and vibe, just brilliant metroidvania all around and the bosses are mostly not too hard so its ok if you're not an expert at these games.

Unreal! Its an absolutely incredible game that feels way ahead of its time and its crazy that modern games aren't stealing the systems from this one. Platinum have done it again!

One of the most all out action games ever! Almost never a dull moment and just trash talk, awesome graphics and insane over the top action throughout. Platinum just do not let you down when it comes to this.

The game is truly incredible, even if you have played the original. I can't recommend it highly enough. GOTY contender.

This is a really unfortunate misstep for the team, I really hope they go back to making the amazing Anodyne series. This is a baffling combination of awkward wooly platforming that will frustrate you over and over as you miss getting up and onto a platform by mere pixels again and again, a frankly seemingly unfinished puzzle game mechanic which I found essentially impossible to lose and just a load of seemingly random stuff for the story and an insane "oh no we lost, oh hang on we randomly won" ending.

Anodyne and Anodyne 2 however, are fantastic genre combining and really interesting story based games with Anodyne 1 in particular having an incredible endgame. I eagerly await Anodyne 3 but won't be buying the teams other games any more.
