I am an avid Lego fan and I was very excited to play this game! It was an enjoyable adventure!

What I liked: The story has so much more emotional impact than you would initially assume. It was a somber moment when I realized what this game was about. I enjoyed the ending and storytelling all throughout, beautifully done.

What I didn't like: The controls are SO frustrating. It is L-Click to pick up, L-Click to rotate, but L-Click Hold to place. So often I ended throwing bricks off of the level's stage.

This is by far one of the most fun FPS run and guns I have ever played. It is also one of the few games I enjoyed enough to 100%.

High quality character classes, a fantastic array of weapons, and great variability in builds make for a great Rougelite experience.

The difficulty curve for each subsequent difficult setting also feel fair but challenging.

To RyseUp; thank you for making such and incredible game! <3

Force me to link my account to a data-harvesting, highly vulnerable organization? No thanks, uninstalling.

Absolutely phenomenal puzzle game with a unique and compelling story.

This is not just a translating game, but a fully-fledged puzzle-solver. The game elements involved are creative and warrant out-of-the-box thinking.

The language systems aren't arbitrary, but rather developed with their own nuance and grammar. It was a truly wonderful gaming experience.

Full play-through to 100% took me ~10 hours.

Played the demo and absolutely love this game.

Not sure how else to report this but clicking the Bug Report button in-game crashes the game.

Possibly the worst PC port I have ever played. Intermittent with keyboards and totally unresponsive to controllers.

Honestly one of the best co-op puzzle games I have every played. Only one puzzle was ever found to be actually aggravating. It's unique take on communication truly made it feel like a survival style puzzle. The story was interesting and the environment charming.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a game for two.

Also, it helped my boyfriend and I develop better communication. So it has relationship benefits too!

Early Access Review
Clunky Controls led to this game being a dissapointment considering its a procedurally generated dungeon. At times it felt more like a mythical walking simulator as maps can generate in a U-Shape, having you go to one end just to turn around and go all the way back. Enemy tracking is upsetting and they will typically only target the first player and simply walk past the rest, as if I wasnt even there. Kitting yourself out was confusing and the upgrade system was incredibly confusing as it had no explanation of intuitive structure.

Being an avid Civ 5 player (500+ hrs), I had huge hopes for the sequel. However, this game was an utter let down. Civ: Beyond Earth was supposed to be a revolutionary game in the Civ series, but Firaxis really let its players down with this one.

- This is at most a shallow mod for Civ 5 (As they play very similar)
- Affinities were a nice idea but get lost as its really just, "Choose a victory and follow that affinity."
- The Tech web is somewhat boring as every player goes for the core values and then picks up the one or two needed for victory later on.
- The aliens are essentially barbarians that will get pissed off at you
- The planets have a darker, more unconfortable feel than playing the regular Earth-like maps in civ 5
- They're really arent that many units, as Firaxis took like 3-4 base units and reskinned them depening on Affinity.
- The bonuses yeilded from a certain Affinity unit to another are nothing to call home about and haven't made a huge difference in my play style.
- The final Ultimate Units for each affinity are not actually that exceptional on the battlefield.
- Domination is essentially impossible with the new "Health" (Happiness) System, along with grand empires.
- Culture, as common with the rest of the Civ games, has always been promising and then falters. Here is not less as it is lost in the eyes of production and money, even as the culture sponsor.
- There are only 8 Sponsors... which they added a background (albeit shallow) that basically said they comprise all of earth, leaving the idea that Firaxis did not want to create more.
- Picking cargo and passengers for the initial games seemed fun until I realized my friends and myself would always pick relatively the same 3 or 4 things no matter who we played.

I could go on, but really what is comes down to is that this had HUGE potential. But ended up being a HUGE let down. For all the avid Civ fans out there, this would not be a game to be proud of in your library.
