Despite the problems I had with this game I feel it's worth a purchase as long as you know what you're getting involved with. This game is a doujin fighter through and through and options to adjust the game for use are limited.

The two big issues for me from a technical aspect that some may need to know about prior to purchase are...

1. The gamepad support is not proper xinput so while it will detect a 360 pad it won't work properly with it out of the gate. Buttons register but dpad/analog sticks do not work. You'll need a 3rd party application like xpadder to use one with this game.

2. Fullscreen (when it works...just crashes for me on win 8.1) is stretched if on a widescreen display despite what the images on the games store page imply (kept aspect ratio with borders on widescreen display.

Aside from that the game plays fine on a modern system and cheap boss aside is a pretty decent (if limited) fighter. For 5$ you could do much worse.
