Genuinely amazing game that will not easily be topped.

That's all I have to say honestly, I felt like I had to pitch in to counteract the asinine review-bombing happening at the moment.

I went into this game about a year after launch, having fairly low expectations.

Despite the average opinion of the community on Starfield, I genuinely loved playing throughout the entire thing. You could think I'm a Bethesda shill but I honestly think most of their games aren't the best, but just very good modplatforms.

But Starfield, I dunno, whilst it's deffo not a perfect game, I had a great time with it and have completed both the main game (with most of the sidequests) and the Shattered Space dlc (about half of the sidequests I reckon).

Objectively, this game is an okay visual novel with pretty subpar battle gameplay. For me subjectively, a big Azur Lane fan, this game has giving me plenty of enjoyment. I did enjoy the VN parts more than the battle gameplay, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't actually enjoying the battles. Because I really, really am.

Again, I can not stress enough that this review is coming from a big Azur Lane fan. Someone who bought the physical CE for this game.

If you're only a little into Azur Lane, wait for a significant price drop before buying this game.
If you're unfamiliar with Azur Lane, steer clear, maybe give the mobile game a spin, but do not buy Crosswave (yet).

Edit: An edit about the DLC characters: honestly, the extra interactions you get with these characters you know from the original game are worth it by itself. In terms of actual battle gameplay is not really worth it.

By far my favorite VN. Whilst my favorite show/franchise is CLANNAD, Little Buster's visual novel is just so good (and has fun minigames, it's so simple but I love the baseball minigame) that I just can't not recommend it to anyone that's into VN's and not afraid of one with the occasional tearjerker.

My playtime on Steam may not be high, but I have completed this VN twice with the unofficial English patch long before it released (or was announced to release) on Steam. The only part I didn't play were the three Ecstasy routes (Futaki, Sasami, and Saya) which I'm planning to do now. I've heard nothing but good stuff about the Saya route, so I'm excited to finally play it.

For people disappointed that there's no H scenes in the Steam version, you're really not missing much. They were really bad, I'd almost say horrible. They really felt out of place in this game, you're honestly better off without... and I'm usually someone that wants all the content, including H scenes, in a game. But in Little Busters? No. Believe me. They are not worth it and more of a detriment to the game than anything else.

The first MMO I played and really got into was WoW. I quit playing it for good about half a year before Pandaria's release. Since then, I drifted from MMO to MMO, never finding one that really captivated me... until I decided to give the rerelease of FFXIV a spin (after absolutely hating the 1.x version of it): FFXIV A Realm Reborn. And oh boy, it is a huge improvement over FF14 1.0 and an absolute delight to play, even for someone with zero Final Fantasy experience like me. After roughly 1300 (3200 at time of me editing this review) hours of gametime since the rerelease, I can honestly say that this game is absolutely amazing and well worth the money!

Edit: Roughly 2000 hours after initially writing this review, I can still say I am completely in love with this game. An absolute must buy! If you're not convinced, there's a trial you can find of FFXIV here on Steam which gives you a little taste of how the game is... sadly enough, it gives you a taste of the early game. The weakest part of FFXIV. The endgame is where it shines, but you'll have to put in more time for that! Again, I can't recommend this game enough!

Edit: Another edit, it's now been over 4000 hours and the first expansion (Heavensward) has released, and it is a great addition to an already great game. I really can not urge you enough to at least give the trial a go -despite low level being the weakest part of the game, as I mentioned in my previous edit-.

Edit: Getting closer & closer to 10k hours played via the Steam client (ingame itself, I'm getting close to 12k) and the game is still my personal favorite. Stormblood (the second expansion) has been amazing to me and I'm looking forward to the third expansion Shadowbringers!

Edit: This will be my last edit of this review, I have reached over 10k hours on Steam but the amount won't increase anymore since my account is a non-Steam one. Hence I can't play through Steam anymore, only the standalone client. Anyways, Shadowbringers has released and it is absolutely stellar. They will soon be cutting down the vanilla MSQ's so new players can get to newer content faster. So this is a great time for both old players & new to return to the game if you haven't already. Every expansion just makes FFXIV better. Kudos to Yoshi and his team! And Soken for his amazing music! <3

Edit: I lied! I just have to add one more edit, I was planning on doing this for a while but the Steam Game Awards finally made me actually do it. Endwalker is an absolutely terrific ending to the Hydaelyn/Zodiark saga of FFXIV. I am very much excited for the future to see what YoshiP and his team of amazingly talented devs will bring us next. Please look forward to it! <3
