Fun horror game with a bit more action than the previous one.
Runs great, but I stumbled into a bug towards the later stages, that made my game crash, which was fixed by verifying my game files.
Other than that would strongly recommend.

If you're looking for a fun, quirky and flashy open-world game, Sunset Overdrive might just be up your alley, but keep in mind, that the PC version isn't very well optimized and can get quite buggy at times.

If you're looking for a mixture of Bioshock, Dishonored and the newer Deus Ex games, you'll love Prey. The excellent interconnected world that is Talos I makes the immersion and exploration elements really shine, while the (mostly) excellent level design emphasizes a variety of ways to play. Although the story may be confusing at times, it was a pleasant surprise for me. Even if this game takes certain elements from the above mentioned games, it feels as its own unique experience, which makes it an easy recommendation.

Although I wouldn't recommend this game to everyone, great combat, level design and the BOSSES make it an epic and crushingly difficult masterpiece in my eyes.

Devil May Cry 5 ROCKS!!!
It was one of my most anticipated games of 2019. After completing the game, I can assure you, that it has definitely lived up to the hype in almost every regard. If you would ask me to describe this game in one sentence, I would simply answer: Devil May Cry 5 ROCKS. And now I'll explain, why that is.

Overall, from all of the games that have already released this year, Devil May Cry 5 was probably my favorite. I like that Capcom doesn't follow most trends and focuses on making, what their fans want them to make. That is truly shown in this game, as it is a perfect staple on how action hack and slash games should be made and that there is still a market for them. Devil May Cry 5 truly rocks, that's why I'm giving it a 9 out of 10.

This game quickly became one of my favourite play your way games.

Graphically, the game looks really good with high quality textures and character models. The animations are also done well, although they look a bit stiff at times. The game is also not perfectly optimized. I have an Intel 7500 and a GTX 1060 and for me the FPS drops below 60 in certain levels, but it is above 60 in others. Sound effects are also quite crunchy and the soundtrack hits the spot perfectly.

The story is told through high quality cutscenes, that are displayed in between levels. Although the story and voice acting is great, the ending is a cliffhanger and it feels like it was made only as an addition to the gameplay.

The gameplay is quite similar to Deus Ex and Dishonored series, although it's a bit more casual. The main attraction of the game are the ways in which you are able to assassinate your targets, ranging from drowning them to killing them with a sniper rifle. All 6 main levels are designed for that and they are your playground in a way. You are given multiple targets in each level and there are countless ways to eliminate them. Exploring and replaying the level enables you to find opportunities, that help you in completing your objective in various ways. What makes this game a bit more casual compared to other play your way games, like Deus Ex and DIshonored, are disguises. You can disguise yourself in different clothes and uniforms and are able to reach your targets without alerting the guards. After you complete each level, you level it up you unlock weapon pick-ups, spawn zones and disguises. That is also why replayability of the levels is highly encouraged. All of these game mechanics compliment each other and work perfectly, although the enemy AI can be quite stupid at times.

Because of that I would easily recommend this game for every Hitman fan and also for Dishonored and Deus Ex fans, as this game is one of the best play your way types of games. Although you can get the full game for 60 €, it goes on sale for under 10 euros, dollars or pounds in a lot of places.
I'm giving this game a 8/10.

I never expected to invest this much time into a 2D fighting game.

It is probably the most graphically impressive fighting game to date, with awesome character models, facial animations and vibrantly coloured enviroments. Sound effects are good and the game's soundtrack is actually memorable. Voice acting is also done well.

The story mode is short (it took me around 4-6 hours), but it actually has a lot of replay value as you can choose which characters to play in certain sections of the game (I believe it also has 2 endings, but I'm not sure, since I only played through the story once) and there are no more quicktime events between the fights. The overall story is good as well.

In addition to the story mode, there is a wide array of other modes and features. There is a ton of tutorials, that show you how every mechanic in the game works with the inclusion of character specific tutorials. The practice mode is also back. Each character's stats, looks and combos are customizable through gear, which adds a big layer of depth into the game. The gear is unlocked through leveling up your character, playing in the Multiverse and through buying lootboxes, called motherboxes. The lootboxes were just added in for fun, as you mostly get more good gear through leveling up your character. You level up your characters by playing them in either single fights offline, online or in the Multiverse. The Multiverse are certain universes, that contain missions, which are basically towers from the MK series. If you defeat the list of enemies and complete certain challenges in the missions, you get rewards, which lead to earning gear. I wouldn't recommend playing online though, especially if you are new to these types of games. The online community on PC is quite small and most of the people that play the game, are really good and will probably kick your ass.

The gameplay is well polished and refined, as you would expect from a NRS game.
The PC port is also done pretty well, with keyboard, Xbox and PS4 controller support. I mostly didn't encounter performance issues, except for a couple of crashes. There is also some sort of spyware included in this game (but I think it only tracks your in-game stats), so keep this in mind, when purchasing it.

Overall, I would easily recommend this game for every DC Comics or fighting game fan, as this is one of the best fighting games in this generation. Although you can get MKX and the first Injustice both for the price of this game, I would still recommend this game over those two, as it is that much better.

For me, this game is a 9/10.

Why are you doing this to me Metro?
This is the question, I asked myself multiple times throughout my playtime with both of the Metro games. Although I think, that Metro: Last Light is an improvement over Metro 2033, there are other issues, that drag the game down more, than they should.

Again, the game instantly immerses you in the world with it's stellar graphics and sound (except certain voice acting). The story is different and may be even better than the story in the first game with many more twists and turns.

The gameplay and the level design is also improved in most levels (some of them are still terrible). The tutorials are also done better in this game. The survival elements issue is still present in a couple of levels. If you run out of enough ammo or gas masks to progress in the level and the game autosaves, you are stuck there and are forced to replay the whole level again. You can't load to a previous autosave or a manual save, because the developers were too lazy to include that in the game. The biggest thing, that drags this game down for me, are the bugs, that start occuring in the second half of the game (after a certain point in the game you can't use E or V to takedown human hostiles anymore and the night vision goggles are put on and off automatically at certain points). I think that is just absurd for a linear remastered game and that this issues still weren't fixed 3 years after the remaster came out.

Overall, I think, that Last Light is an improvement over 2033, it is nothing more than a minor improvement.
That's why I'm giving this game a 6/10, but still can't recommend it for its' frustrating gameplay elements.

I really hope that 4A Games fix the issues of the previous two games in Exodus, but my hopes for that are sadly getting lower and lower.

I really wanted to like this game, but ended up being seriously disappointed.

The game presents itself in a very good way and instantly immerses you in the world and the story, which are the most well done parts of the game. The graphics and the sound effects are done really well, and make you feel like you're living in a destroyed world, overrun by bad people and mutants. The only graphical issue, that I had in the game, is the HUD, which looks ugly and was clearly a developer's last thought (keep in mind, that this is nitpicking and is not a major issue). The voice acting could also have been done better, but is acceptable and I found it a bit funny at times. Otherwise, the story is told in a very good way. The game really succeeds in doing what it set itself to do, in immersing the player.

But the immersion can get broken in a vast majority of levels, which are plagued with lackluster gameplay and utterly terrible level design, that throws you in a more open area, but doesn't show or tell you, what you specifically need to do to progress there. The game is also lacking certain tutorials, so that means, that you either have to try things and get frustrated or watch a guide outside the game, which is ridicolous for a game, that you probably won't replay more than once. Another issue in the game are survival elements, more specifically ammo and gas masks. They aren't an issue on their own and can work as a decent survival element, but what makes them bad is the autosave system and a lack of a proper load and quicksave/save system. If you run out of enough ammo or gas masks to progress in the level and the game autosaves, you are stuck there and are forced to replay the whole level again. You can't load to a previous autosave or a manual save, because the developers were too lazy to include that in the game.

I really wanted to like this game, but the frustrating gameplay section of it makes it so hard for me to recommend it.
That's why I'm giving this game a 5/10.

I heard a lot of good things about this game. And it is one of the games that actually lives up to all the hype. For me it actually even exceeds it a bit.

The graphics look pretty good for a game, that came out in 2012 (the Dubai setting helps that a decent bit). The sound is done well, but is not overly memorable.

The gameplay is simple, but it works well. There are also different types of setpieces and game mechanics (such as sandstorms), that vary up the gameplay from in interesting ways. Although, the control scheme could have been done better, because you use one button for multiple actions (even on PC). The gameplay also compliments the story a fair bit.

The story is this game's selling point and the game succeeds in every aspect of it. The characters are well written, their performances are very good and the ending may blow your mind.

One thing that you need to also keep in mind is, that this game is fairly short. I finished the main story in about four and a half hours, and there isn't much else content, as the multiplayer and the coop are dead.

But for under 5 bucks, I would easily recommend this game to anyone, that's even remotely interested in military shooters, as this is something fresh and different in this genre.
That's why I'm giving this game an 8/10.
