This is still the best Far Cry game ever made. I love the Far Cry franchise and Far Cry 2 was the first Far Cry I got my hands on. Back in the day, this was my go to game on the PS3 along with Fallout 3 and New Vegas. For 2008, Far Cry 2 was way ahead of its time, and still is a diamond in the rough to this day. Most people started out with Far Cry 3, but the Far Cry 3 mold ,so to say, is getting repetitive and boring. The graphics are still really good looking, and the gun play feels meaty and real. This game is gonna kick you in the nuts, and then set you on fire with the difficulty, but sometimes a game needs that. Far Cry 2 also is not gonna be for every one, due to the difficulty, but it still stands out as the best Far Cry in my book. This is one of the best Ubisoft's games out there, and this game was made with real game devs. Far Cry now is just Far Cry 3 with a new location and new weapons, which is cool but I want something new and thrilling. A remaster would be dope BTW. I'll give Far Cry 2 a machete/shotgun, would get malaria again.
