Do you like infinite replayability through random generated structures? Do you want a challenge in the beginning (I'd say the first few hundred hours if it is your first roguelike) but once you get really good you will need to challenge yourself with the harder characters or other artificial difficulty inducing elements?

Then this is *the* game for you. Edmund McMillen has created a masterpiece with the binding of isaac rebirth. The first few dlcs were great but not that challenging. The repentence DLC however is another thing entirely. As the famous Isaac Youtuber and Twitch-streamer Hutts would put it "Repentence is like 50 times harder than afterbirth+ and one hundred times harder than base rebirth and afterbirth without the plus". So be prepared to die very quickly during your first dozen attempts.

So do I recommend this game? Absolutely.! However, 100%ing this game will drive you mad and you might not want to really do this unless you become truly addicted - but if this kind of challenge is your thing then all the more power to you. After extensively playing the game (around 1300 hours) I have 100%ed this game not just once but twice (second time mainly playing on steam deck, for which it btw. is an amazing game).
I have not even begun to talk about the incredible community, especially the modding community but maybe I have awoken some interest and you will want to find out all about it yourself.

Again, I cannot recommend this game enough. It will not be something for everyone but stick to it for a few more hours even after a frustrating start. You might even want to start with the base rebirth game to get accustomed to the playstyle before going all in with repentence (although there is the normal mode and not every game has to be played on hard since repentence's version of hard is truly much harder than the normal difficulty). Just be aware that achievements will not be retroactively unlucked if you do decide to start with only the base rebirth game.

This is a fun fast paced multiplayer jump n run -ish game. The connection issues this game used to have are almost completely fixed.

Amazing graphics, beautiful music themes and overall just as good as its predecessor. I don't know for sure whether the first Ori Game had a shop system with abilities and upgrade shards but if not then it is a mayor improvement in this second game. If you like metroidvania games and have not heard of the Ori games then definetly check them out.
It's not completely necessary to have played Ori and the blind forest before playing this game but the story will mean much more to you if you have played it before so I recommend doing that.

I have played this game for a bit. I come to the conclusion that this game is like a toxic relationship. You want more of it even though you know that afterwards you will feel worse compared to had you not touched it. Hackers, smurfs, unfair ranking system, toxic players, 64 tick Matchmaking are just some problems this great game has.

Would I recommend this game? That's a clear maybe! But since that is not a possible option I am going to choose "hellllll no!"

Pretty fun game. Works best with 2 (or more) people. Nice to see that there still are enjoyable local multiplayer games.

Richtig cooles Spiel. Zum Teil sehr knifflige Rätsel, wo man an dem einem oder anderem etwas länger sitzt. Das überaschendste ist wohl, das ich es besser als den ersten teil finde.
