Final Fantasty Adventure was my childhood, too bad this is a 0 effort 'tribute' with a 'scat mode' where the character eats ♥♥♥♥.

Less than 50% of players have played through a single run yet this somehow has >2000 positive reviews.

Most of the reviewers have less than an hour of gameplay.

Boy I sure do love living in a world where you can buy thousands of fake reviews from China.

I would have never allowed this game to pass QA.

What a shame the developer couldn't be assed to hire a pixel artist or source a QA team.

Wasted opportunity. Such many cases.

I played the Game Jam version from back in 2019 and always thought "Why didn't this guy make a full game?"
Forward is one of the most unique implementations of the concept of roguelikes out there.

It's worth eight bucks if you're willing to put up with frustratingly unfair RNG. Somehow I played this game for 12 hours instead of working today. Go figure.

I really want to like this game but there are just too many issues to even bother listing and it makes me sad to see such great effort wasted on the failure of key details.

It turns out the game is fundamentally broken because the developers don't understand how to implement V-Sync or why you need to isolate frame rendering code from the game logic.
Besides that it is a boring, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and uninspired game that looks like it was cobbled together at the last minute from the corpse of an overworked and underpaid pixel artist. That's the reality.

Yet another unfinished and buggy abandonware game being sold on Steam that I can't get refunded for, the shocking thing is that this is also being sold on the Switch. I wonder if the Switch version is up to date or something because I can't imagine this ♥♥♥♥ getting past Nintendo's QA.

Let it be known: This is the title that made me give up wanting to support indie game devs because of how disgustingly incomplete it is after 3 years. I am not talking about devoid of content (which it is) but the fact that the developer can't even be bothered to fix known issues such as the fact the elemental defenses are represented by ... numbers. Three years ago the developer said "I'll fix it right away!" to someone complaining about it. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ numbers man? What?

I wandered into the final boss too early. It doesn't let you leave the final boss area period. Now I am stuck and my previous save was from hours ago.

♥♥♥♥ you and ♥♥♥♥ your inability to do the most basic things right.
