Ah, the lungs, my cherished home,
A labyrinth where I can roam.
With every breath, a warm embrace,
A place of comfort, full of grace.

I drift on air, unseen, so small,
Yet in your depths, I stand tall.
The alveoli, tiny beds,
Where I can rest my weary head.

Your moisture clings to me like dew,
A lover's touch, so sweet, so true.
With every inhale, I dive deep,
In your soft tissues, I find sleep.

I love the way you spread my name,
From cell to cell, my endless game.
In your embrace, I multiply,
A hidden force, beneath the sky.

The world outside, it has no charm,
But in your warmth, I find my calm.
Oh, lungs, my sanctuary sweet,
Where life and death so gently meet.

So here I'll stay, my cozy nest,
Within your chambers, I am blessed.
For in your breath, I find my way,
My love for you will never sway.
