Too many technical issues.
Combat feels sluggish and unsatisfying.
Players and NPCs get stuck in the geometry too often.
Audio stutters constantly.
Umbral feels like a gimmick and becomes repetitive quickly.

Very good but not very intuitive.
I feel lost most of the time playing it.

Absolute garbage. Not even sure what I was expecting from this. Even at 20 reais, I still feel robbed.

Space Marine 2 is excellent, but a few minor tweaks could make it incredible!

My main concerns center around the general balancing, which sometimes seems to have been overlooked by the developers.

Firstly, the bots are often unhelpful during critical moments in the campaign. This issue was also prevalent in World War Z (from the same studio), where allied bots would ignore weapons, enemies, and wander aimlessly without a clear objective.

The campaign itself is engaging, but its duration feels somewhat shorter than anticipated. Additionally, there are some bugs in long-range combat: enemies with ranged weapons inflict excessive damage and rarely miss their shots. This issue is compounded by the character's armor, which feels relatively fragile for what is supposed to be a heavily armored Space Marine.

In terms of PvP, the experience has been generally positive, though there are a few players who not only fail to tag enemies but also rush into confined spaces and get easily defeated.

We need crossplay for PvP!

We need advanced customization options for the Chaos faction!

We urgently need more maps!

Overall, playing solo: 8/10

Playing in Co-op: 9/10

Half-Life on cocaine and the best shotgun(s) in recent memory.

How could a single developer create something so robust, polished, and fun? "Vladik Brutal" is a testament to what can be achieved with dedication and skill. The combat is precisely what the genre needed, offering a refreshing contrast to the live service shooters from big studios, where weapons often feel insubstantial.

This lone developer has crafted weapons that are incredibly satisfying to use. The movement is fast and fluid, and the enemies are relentless, keeping the gameplay exciting and challenging.

The shotguns in "Vladik Brutal" deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as those in "Blood" and "F.E.A.R."—particularly after the level inside the train, which is an exhilarating, satisfying experience.

Although I haven’t finished the campaign yet, I’m eager to complete it as soon as possible.

For now, there are only a few minor complaints: the iron sights are not very useful since the weapons are generally accurate even when firing from the hip. Some of the maps with vehicles feel a bit janky, but this is impressive given the scope of the game and the fact that it was developed by a single person.

Good but could be GREAT! (Minor Spoilers)

To begin, I must commend Jawbreaker for its striking style and menacing atmosphere. From the outset, the game exudes an intense vibe that immediately drew me in, prompting a desire to uncover why the world had descended into such devastation and how gangs had risen to dominate it.

The art and atmosphere captivated me from the start. The thought of navigating this bleak scenario, surrounded by unpredictable psychopaths with no hope of rescue, sent shivers down my spine.

However, while Jawbreaker excelled in many areas, there are a few issues I encountered that detracted from my overall experience:

Firstly, the inclusion of larger bosses like the tank and robot felt unnecessary and disrupted the game's pacing. I found myself longing for more encounters akin to the chainsaw guy, which felt better integrated into the immersive world without compromising the tension.

Regarding weapons, I understand the emphasis on survival horror and stealth gameplay, but managing ammunition became frustrating. Despite having two shotguns, I often found myself with as few as six shots, and there were instances where the inventory displayed loaded bullets but the gun remained empty, which was disorienting.

Additionally, the decision to send the protagonist out unarmed in a world where gangs rule and violence is rampant felt implausible to me. It broke immersion and raised questions about the game's narrative consistency.

Furthermore, while the "true ending" provided explanations for broader aspects of the game world, it neglected to shed light on our own bunker where the radio transmissions originate. This omission left me feeling disconnected from potential other survivors and the larger context of the story.

Lastly, I felt the coin system for purchasing items was superfluous. A crafting system tied to looting locations such as police stations or military bases would have made more sense thematically and gameplay-wise. Crafting ammunition and health items could have added a strategic layer to resource management, enhancing the survival experience.

In conclusion, while Jawbreaker excels in creating a chilling atmosphere and compelling premise, these gameplay elements could benefit from refinement to further elevate the overall experience.
