TL;DR - This game sat in my library for a number of years before I finally played it - I do wish I hadn't taken so long to play it. It's worth buying, and playing, if you can get it for $10 or less. Took me about 7 hours to beat it, I think you could probably do it in about 6 if you stay focused.

Overall, probably an 8/10.

The story is interesting, though the game isn't particularly long and the ending is a little unsatisfying. The game is from 2010 but despite that, I thought the graphics were pretty solid for their time. The facial expressions were good. The voice acting was average, though I thought Trip's character was the best of the three.

Combat was a little too repetitive for my taste. A lot of the same combos over and over again. There's enough platforming to where this isn't really a problem, but it would've been nice to have a little bit more variety. The slow mo at the end of major fight sequences was a nice little touch. Monkey's facial expressions are pretty good there.

I wish the story had been fleshed out just a little more. It would've been nice to see the dynamic between Trip and Monkey be a little more hostile in the earlier stages. She relents the whole enslavement thing pretty much after the first time she does it.

All in all, it's worth your time if you can get it cheaply. If the God of War folks ever got their hands on this IP, they could probably take it to the next level.
