Dark souls is the Psychonauts of zombie games.

This is the One.

Fun little game.

Good game, responsive controls, excellent music.

Well, this belongs in a museum. It IS the Dark souls of metroidvania games, but it doesn't need to be. Hollow Knight is it's own thing.

Simple game, kill zombies, upgrade your guns and build defenses.

HLD is an action RPG with nice pixel art graphics and hard-but-fair mecanics. Everything looks alien and weird, kinda like the old classic Out of this world / Another world. This feeling is enhanced by an excellent synth-y soundtrack. This is not a 2D Darksouls or the post-apocalyptic Zelda, HLD is really its own thing. At first I did not understand a thing so I forgot about it, but I'm glad I gave it another go.

A beautiful, challenging and relaxing puzzle game where you paint parts of the screen to make everything the same color. You could make our own Kami-type game using Paint. Or play this one.

It's a classic, fun RTS. The community can be meh.

I'm sad and ashamed I put so many hours in this game. The items/levels system quickly makes an experiment in operant conditioning more than a fun game.
