If you're wanting the feel of old paper mario but don't want an exact ripoff. This is for you.
It includes everything you love about the original games but applies its own bug setting to it.

This game is pure whacky overthetop fun.
I highly recommend it if you have a hack and slash urge.

The addition of the wastelanders update helps the game flesh out itself a lot.
However, the experience continues to be hampered by a myriad large and small glitches.
This fallout experience is inferior to that of even 4, so if you're looking for a return to form for the series, you won't get it here. Despite their efforts to introduce a proper dialog system and stat dialog.
In the end, the game is up in the air, I myself have spent many hours on the non steam version and have had an enjoyable time, however, being objective I do not think it is worth the current asking price.

Improvements have been made but not enough to justify the pricetag
Wait for a sale if you still really want this game.

To put it bluntly, its a game with a ton of content and replayability.
I've had this game for the last half decade and every time i have the urge to play it, there was something new. It's amazing how much time and effort the devs put into this game. It can keep a snigle person, or many entertained for hours at a time. A very good game just to play and chill with friends after a long day

The game is one of my favorite rogue likes. The balance of strategy and perma death really makes you chose who you take to the dungeon.

6/10 needs more Dog Hunt Dog laughing at you. Because that ♥♥♥♥ was truly humiliating.

This is a great game. The combat is fun and fresh and the world is immersive and well as expansive. There are a large variety of enemies and plenty of nooks an crannies to explore. The world has the FromSoft flare to it with the added benefit of being a lot more 3D level design. As unlike in the souls series roof climbing and parkour are encourage and the jumping mechanic makes more sense and has more impact. Speaking of the souls game, the combat in this one is extremely reaction based. As if you're parrying every ability but with a much better parry frame. However, it here stems a small problem, as some bosses feel as though they are not meant for these new combat mechanics. Such as a certain flaming male cow. My only real complaint is that the grappling system feels a bit under developed despite it being the a main attraction. Unless this changes by the end of the game (As I have only defeated genichiro) You're limited to certain grappling spots and you cannot actually grapple enemies which sucks.
Overall this game provides a very tenchu experience. With fun and fresh combat against a very large and unique variety of enemies.There is more than enough content for your money and if you're a fan of the sengoku period of Japan with a little mythology thrown in I highly recommend it.
