I know what I did and I didn't have high expectations, and I regret Nothing, it's Kerbal! :)
But the only reason to buy this right now is to give the devs money to fix all the issues and add the features promised though :)

If you want to have something that works and is fun, get KSP1 :)

Well, there is hope :)
First patch resolved many of the worst issue, I managed to play an evening with just slight issues after loading games, which can be fixed by going to main menu and loading again :)
It now feels like something fitting for a EA release, and that is for a patch rolled out pretty fast :)
One just wonders why they couldn't have done the initial release around this level :)

If the devs keep up like this, the future looks bright though :)
That said, with KSP1 being available, I still don't recommend this unless you want to actively support and/or be involved in KSP2, not yet anyways :D

-- OLD, directly after launch: --
There are bugs everywhere, some highlights:
- A crash on the very first launch that locked up Windows so hard I had to reboot, I haven't had that in years!
- The setting for Fullscreen is called "Fullscreeen", that's right, with 3 e's. Not having run the translation files through a spell checker or anyone having noticed that is a good indication of where things are.. :)
- First Kerbal I managed to get on the moon fell through it after switching to tracking station and back
- Buttons show the wrong state in several places, editors get stuck in modes, lots of little things like that everywhere :)

It's a bit scary, most of these would/should have come up in very basic play testing, which suggests the team is having issues.

Other than that, the basics seem to be in places. Content is missing of course, but we knew that. Some choices/implementations around controls and other things feel like a slight step back from original Kerbal, I hope they listen to the community as they promise, and improve in those areas (I won't mention specifics, I think others are doing that much better than I could).

I really hope to come back here in the future and update this to say how amazing the game is now :)

If you like buildy/sim games, you have to get this, and if you don't but like gaming you still should get it, cause the dev team is the most amazing ever and good things like this need to be rewarded ^.^
