One of the most fun RTS games you will find. Whether or not the game provides a sense of nostalgia, or you just want a good strategy game, AoE II is the route to go. The price is a little out there considering the game originally came out in the 1990s, but I'd say it's worth every penny.

Also, I only have so few hours in the game because I usually play offline or on the original disc I have.

I can't tell what this game is trying to be. It seems closest to a modern old-school shooter, but if that's the case, if feel like it kind of missed the mark. I have a lot of hours logged in FPS games, but this is not one I would recommend. Half the time, I can't tell what is shooting me because everything is the same color: grey. The storyline is bland and you will probably die from unknown causes numerous times. The only upside is the graphics, which are actually really good for a non-AAA title from 2013.

If you like old-school shooters, I'd pick up the game while its on sale for under $5, but it's not worth anything more than that.

A fantastic game for $10. I love the art style and gameplay. There are a few things I wish were a bit different though.

1) I wish there was a gamemode where dying didn't mean needing to restart. You would respawn and maybe lose part or all of your gold. This would make it easier for first-time players to understand the gameplay concepts without such harsh punishments.

2) More customability in your kingdom. While the maps are procedurally generated, there are set places for walls, guard towers, etc. The ability to place an object anywhere you want might detract from the simplicity of the controls, but I'd love to see it as an option in the settings.

3) A tutorial would be really nice. I've had to read through the few guides currently on the Community Hub to understand a lot of what's going on (e.g. the function of Knights and how to establish stone walls). This is another feature that could be turned on/off from the settings.

Other than these three items, the game is pretty much perfect. It's a lot of fun with tons of replayability. I really suggest it for you Indie game lovers out there :)

A Bird Story is yet another masterpiece in Kan's collection. To The Moon was, and still is, my favorite game of all time. After playing the shorter A Bird Story, I express similar thoughts. While the story takes roughly an hour to work through, the game attaches the player to each and every character with an emotional connection stronger than most every other game I have played. With a library currently filled with 224 games, A Bird Story easily makes the top three. Kan Gao's new transitions and seemless storyline worked well with this new piece. I am willing to bet that, no matter who is reading this, if you were to take $5 and one hour of your time to play A Bird Story, you would feel just the same as I do now. Don't get deterred by the slow-paced progression, because most of you will be sobbing by the end credits. In conclusion, I honestly believe A Bird Story has got a little of bit of everything for everyone. It was a true pleasure to play.

Get ready to embark on an adventure filled with exploration, discovery, and a plotline that will leave you wanting more. While, at the time of this review, I have only played through the first act, I can whole-heartedly encourage people to buy this game. While many of my fellow reviewers have talked about the need of "patience" when playing this game, I do not believe that to be true. Kentucky Route Zero, in a way, creates a patience within the player. It gives you a reason to be patient and wonder, to be curious about what will happen next. It took me around 90 minutes to complete the first act, and I can tell you that it was well worth it. If this game were to end after the first act, while I would be somewhat dissapointed, my money would have been well spent. So go out on a limb and buy this game, take the journey yourself. And remember, sometimes its good to turn off your light and step into the dark. Good luck :)

Game Dev Tycoon was one of the games I bought during a Steam Sale. You play as a game developer who starts a game development company in your garage. It is fun, if not tedious, with potential for replay ability. Although it lacks slightly in the subject of allowing players to customize their games, it is still definitely worth the purchase. It is the kind of game that, once you get the hang of it, you can't let go. I beat the game in one sitting (which isn't too difficult) and immediately went back for more. I am now almost through my second playthrough, attempting to beat my previous high score. It is an amazing game, but I wish there was more possibility for creativity in the games and company you create.

Little Inferno is honestly one of my favorite games of all time. It is revolutionary and compelling, with a thought-provoking story. Having just finished the storyline, I'm going back for more. Without giving away any spoilers, I was moved by the emotional and extremely eye-opening moral of the game. Its characters were all special in there own way, putting their own twist on the story. Having purchased quite a few games during the recent Steam sale, I found the majority of them to be fun, but lacking in storyline. Little Inferno is just the opposite, putting player in close-to tear-jerking, edge of the chair positions. The developers are able to do this using astonishing music and well thought out letters from the people you are able to interact with. These letters can put you in a state of excitement, wonder, or even sadness as you worry for your companions. In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and think that everyone should play it. It is the sun in a snow storm.

There are a lot of people who dislike this game, but I think that most of them are overlooking some of the key aspects of Ghosts. Many people complain about FPS drops, which aren't an issue if you limit your ping when searching for games. If you have a decent computer, the game runs very smoothly. Although I am not much of a single player fan, I did finish the campaign. I thought it was more engaging than BF4, which I also own. The graphics, specifically lighting effects, are not even close to that of the past two Battlefields, but it is still very "next-gen". I have played one game of Extinction, and although it isn't my favorite game mode, I am very pleased with how it turned out. I do agree with others in the fact that without dedicated servers things get a little weird when trying to find a match. The two things that are probably the worst for me are actually finding games other than TDM and hit detection. My hit detection seems fine, a little iffy at times, but it seems to work okay. My issue is with my opponents hit detection. This has to do with internet connection and I don't think you can really get rid of this issue completely in modern day shooters (e.g. all of CoD and BF). An example of this is when I am getting hit by an enemy, so I hide behind the wall. Yet, I still manage to get killed. When watching the killcam, I see that in my opponents view, I am not yet even behind the wall. Other than these two issues, I find the game very fun. I would definitely recommend it. I don't think the others who rated this product are looking at the pros of it.
