Valve's cursed yet beautiful bastard child of a game-- Valve's SSBM. They cobbled some ♥♥♥♥ together and took 2 maps from HL2 and modified them for deathmatch play. Literally the least amount of effort Valve has put into any standalone game, ever. But this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.

Yeah, low-level play is fun for sure. But high-level play is crazy. HL2DM is filled with all sorts of Source Engine jank, and that allows for crazy physics and movement tech.

If you have experience with Quake, Team Fortress, or any other sort of fast-paced arena fps, you'll love this game. Especially on the higher levels of play. I can't recommend it enough.
