Story is simple, but the action and visuals in this game are phenomenal.

Decent story, great dialogue from NPCs, beautiful graphics, and dynamic gameplay.

BGS + Space

Pure fun. Great mechanics, decent story, imaginative environments, entertaining characters. It brings together aspects of the Half Life series, the BioShock series, Fallout 4, and even the modern Doom games. The end result is a wild ride.
Side note: They plan to allow changing FOV in a future patch, which is esssential for me, but in the meantime I am using Flawless Widescreen (It's free. Google it) to change FOV and that works well.

If you like game mechanics and don't care too much about the story (it's OK), then you will love this game. One gripe is that the main story difficulty does not scale with your character level and abilities. Therefore, I nearly maxed out my character through side missions and just running around the city, and now most of the main story missions are just too easy to complete, and have rewards that aren't worth my time. If I replayed the game I would focus more on the main story primarily, and let my skills progress naturally with a few side missions here and there. I like that it takes a lot of "Infected trophies" to upgrade your weapons and consumables, so you have to go out at night and risk death. Otherwise, finding the trophies would be a very long and tedious task. This game is definitely an upgrade from the previous Dying Light game, which I loved as well. Plenty of fun parkour and melee action, and the bow and arrow mechanics are fun especially when you get the parkour "bullet time" skill. Can't deny that parkour, glider, and grappling hook are a fun way to travel around in an open world game like this.

Worth every penny! You're in for a fun surprise if you hit the eagle.

Wow. Just wow. The game mechanics are off the charts with this one. Jumping into the air, slowing down time to shoot an enemy at the peak of your arc, changing directions, and then landing on another enemy with your sword... Beautiful! This is what VR does well, and you've capitalized on it.

Fabulous 7 minute ride! A perfect passive experience to show any VR newcomers the potential for immersion when the right ambience, sound, and visuals are combined. Also, the progression of the experience matched with the music add some moments of surprise, and awe! I can't wait to see what Fantasynth Live holds for us!

Wow! Fabulous 2Hr experience to clear the game, but based on the AI shifts each time you die, I would guess replaying the game could be fun every so often. It is fun to impress yourself with your own stylish moves. Can you clear this level without firearms? Can you clear this level with only one hand?...
I highly recommend it as an intro game for anyone who wants to show their friends VR for the first time, as well.
Would love to see the developer iterate on this and add something even beyond the bullet time mechanic.
