Honestly this is one of the most enjoyable games ive played in the past year. While the game is fundamentally very similar to Pokemon its a refreshing take on monster collector classic. While it hard to say whether or not i enjoy Temtem over Gamefreaks most recent game Pokemon SwSh i can say that im much more impressed by the game as a whole. Pokemon came out seemingly incomplete with a short linear story however there were plenty of new mons and great quality of life mechanics not to mention tons of new engaging feature which made up for a lot of its faults. Temtem, other then some server troubles at the beginning of launch (its basically completely fixed now) has lots of fresh takes on the basic pokemon feature and while nowhere near as polished as swsh it has a much better bare bones structure. Also since its early access the polishing will only continue with new tem, slight ui updates and plenty more story. Overall i highly recommend this game to any pokemon fan whether you were disappointed by swsh or not.
