Early Access Review
Intense and will keep you on your toes. Scratches the Danganronpa itch and then some. Might actually be better than Danganronpa, tbh

If you are a person who enjoys slamming your keyboard in a specific way to maximize damage against huge, screen-filling bosses, grinding your ass off killing the same monsters in large, open battlegrounds and chopping down wood to craft crappy shoes, then you're fit to be a Final Fantasy XIV master.

9/10

Pretty good. Oh, and did I mention cat-girls?

I don't normally write reviews but this game deserves one. The story, characters, choices, etc are all phenomenal. The game is about a college photography student named Max Caulfield who recently has returned to her hometown for school. While she is taking a photograph of a butterfly, she watches a fight ensue and a person shot. This awakens her rewind power and all the strange events start from then on.

So about the story, setting, visuals, characters... They all work together beautifully to give you such a strong sense that you really are Max Caulfield and you are experiencing this adventure first-hand. The subtle moments of continuity between episodes (spoilers: the potted plant!) and the little details added into every room make it very enjoyable. You feel good for noticing the personalities the characters show on their bedroom walls. Everything just feels... real. These aren't two-dimensional characters, they're anything but. They all have stories, families, connections, friends, etc. The characters and story are relatable and the rewind mechanic to choices makes the choices all that much heavier. Speaking of the rewind mechanic, playing through this game will only make you wish even stronger that you had the same power. You approach every choice with such a different outlook. There's no need to choose the safe option if you can rewind time. Anyway, it's been an absolute pleasure to be able to play it and I firmly believe it is one of the best experiences a story-driven game can give. Cheers to Life is Strange Season 2.

Final Rating: 10/10

First episode is completely free, so please go try it out. You won't regret it.

An amazing visual novel that is free, so nobody has a reason not to try it. Very short, but compelling story that teaches you never to forget about who cares for you. Maris helps Cantus learn this in the span of a week. It'll make you cry or at least shed a tear (like I did)

I recommend it to everyone.
