It's a good sim, the main thing that sets it apart is how mod friendly it is, and the amount of mods available for the game. Once you're done with the base game content and DLCs, there are hundreds of free and paid community mods available which makes Assetto Corsa quite replayable.

I would recommend pairing this with Content Manager, which comes with a free version, and a paid version you can buy for as little as £1 or $1. It makes the UI of the launcher much nicer and comes packaged with Custom Shaders Patch which also makes the game look better and gives you more options. It also comes with an in-built mods browser and can handle the installation of mods for you.
