Update: 10/9/2022 - Geez man, they ain't gonna stop! Halloween update on top of Asylum rework with Custom Difficulty?! Can't wait for the Horror 2.0 drop! If you haven't picked up Phasmophobia yet, you are missing out! Phasmo has earned it's place as one of the top 10 must haves on PC!

Update: 12/13/2021 - Phasmophobia and its developers have come significantly far and with each and every update more and more content gets added in. With the recent release of the nightmare update just back in October to another major update for the Cursed Possessions there's so much more content added into the game and we're here at about 20 ghost types now. The game is more fun than ever and is really great to play along with friends. If you haven't picked Phasmophobia up yet, it's always at a great price and worth every penny!

Phasmophobia is an absolutely fantastic game. I love horror games, whether it be games like Outlast, Layers of Fear, Amnesia, etc etc. But I'm always looking for something with a cooperative mode. Sure there are "coop horror" games like Dead by Daylight, In Silence, etc and those games are great however in this game the ghost is an AI, and it's not a player (as of this moment - don't know if that type of PVP would be a thing, but I prefer the PVE aspect with friends - it's refreshing) so the ghost won't necessarily single you out or anything, you'll need to provoke it to get a response unless of course, it's super active from the get go. Phasmophobia is honestly just a refreshing breath of air in the horror genre and it's mixing the cooperative side up a bit and giving us chills and a new experience in the genre.

Ultimately, for the price it's unbeatable. The replayability is insane since every ghost is procedural (while the maps may be the same every time) so the ghost will be different every time - even if it's the same type. I definitely recommend this game for anyone who loves some spooky bois.
