Not only is this an amazing VR game, but it is an amazing Half-Life game. It takes all the best parts of VR games - the physics, the control, the freedom - and packages it beautifully within the Half-Life universe. From the very first scene of looking out over City 17, the game keeps you truly immersed within the world to a scale I have never seen. The pacing is top notch as you move between exploration and action, and though some chapters were extremely intense (for me, a giant scared baby), the payoff is incredible every time.

If you like VR, you will love this game.
If you like Half-Life, you will love this game.
If you're on the fence about either of those, this will tip the balance handily.

I cannot recommend it enough.

I played this game way after it was released and after knowing "some" of the plot points. I did not finish Bioshock 1 and did not play Bioshock 2 at all.

Even with those in mind I absolutely loved this game from start to finish, even if it did make me a bit of an emotional wreck by the end of Burial at Sea Episode 2. The characters are great, the story is great, the voice acting is great, the combat is fun, and the overall presentation is just superb. There are plenty of callbacks and hints to the previous Bioshock games, but Infinite plays out in a way that I did not feel out of the loop at any point. Highly recommended.

Garry's Mod is the game within a game, with games within games. It started as one of the first sandbox poser/builders, but expanded into its own realm with the addition of multiple game modes, many addons, and incredible mod support. Hours can be lost building and tinkering with contraptions, discovering traitors in your midst, building a spacecraft and exploring planets.... or just spawning towers of explosive barrells to see how many it takes to crash the game! The sky is very nearly the limit when it comes to activities in Garry's Mod, there is almost surely something available for everyone.
