Welcome to XCOM. You are playing as the commander of the XCOM Project, which is tasked to defend Earth against a massive alien invasion. You build your base, manage your soldiers, finance research and development of new technology and respond to emergency situations around the world.

The games is amazing, it's engaging from the start. You can customize your soldiers any way you want, you can even make your friends XCOM operatives! The soldiers are affected by perma-death, which means if they die in combat they are gone for good.

Combat is turn based, divided between your squads actions first and then your enemies. Your squad members can either move twice or move and attack. Combat is affected by both the class your soldiers are and the skills they posses.

Overall the game, like I said at the start, is amazing, and now with the Enemy Within expansion the game is just a masterpiece. Get it now!
