Downloads but won't actually install itself or become available at all.

Bad DLC that should quite literally have been apart of base game like AoE 1. Download is an actual gamble as it's a very high chance it just won't work for you, apparently. And if it does work, it will also apparently be highly clunky anyway.

Save yourself some time, and disappointment, and don't bother with AoE II DE.

Bloody great game if you like playing in a team and can have fun without being salty! It has its moments of unbalance, but those are best used to improve your skills anyway. Not to mention a lot of the glitches can also make for quite hilarious moments!

The Devs are quite notorious for baiting us with shiny bits however, odd how whenever the ork community asked for balances we got swamped with more hats... But then again, more flashy bitz means more skill, obviously!

This game is NOT meant to be played "solo" (without a guild) either, and that is what a LOT of people forget. This is a team based game with communication required, so simply join a guild, jump on their discord/TS and start having fun!

TL;DR Good game if you like having fun in a team, has its issues, get over it, buy it.
