Don't bother with this game, unless you're looking to play waifu dressup and spend outrageous amounts of money to boost your broken player market gainings.
-No. seriously, as a very long term fan of Phantasy Star (since Dreamcast), i have thousands of beloved hours hunting red boxes and co-op romping with friends pve. Ragol, Guardians Colony, evenearly days of Japanese PSO2 are places i felt at home.
New Genesis feels like a disgusting rotten cow being milked for all the meseta it think's it's worth.
Sure it looks nice. The combat mechanics are even an improvement. But soon after you reach the end of content (only a few days for an experienced player), you realize that Fear of missing out fashion is really the point of this game.
You will need you spend 100$+ every few weeks if you want Naruto run, or a Sonic spinball, or lipstick.
This never used to bother me, cause i dont need these luxuries. But truely the developers are more focused on thier AC scratches and forgettable NPC storylines (that are horrendously bad imo). There is no co-op rare hunt dungeon game here.
Only waifu broken player marker simulator.
