Solid faction addition, more so because it meets my style of play. Flexible while maintaining a 'bend, but don't break' mentality. I do wish they'd add a Commander with the Super Pershing though. Also a meta faction. You will see it played plenty in next month's world championship.

I would get this on sale honestly. 4.99 is a bit steep, even if it's the best, and funnest, squad in the Ardennes Assault campaign. You don't NEED this to beat it. Baker and Able company are perfectly fine to alternate the campaign. You can likely even only use Dog Company on your second go.

That said, I will repeat that this is one of the funnest squads. Fox and Baker are a blast for me, Cavalry Riflemen in that half track got me so many surprise squad wipes and just put the enemy in an unrecoverable place.

Back to Fox: Upgrading just to Panzershrek's allows you to basically cheese the campaign. Fully maxing out just the Ranger upgrades and making 4 squads per mission just gives you an insane amount of killing power. Especially if the mission isn't speed based (check the gold text talking about medals being rewarded before each mission). So it's a lot of fun. Especially if you approach other squads with 2+ Ranger squads from different angles.

It's probably a bit unfair to the AI later in the campaign with their remaining strongholds being supposedly stronger, but I... just... do... not... care. Rangers lead the way baby!

Actually a lot better than the campaign that came with the game. Moving your squads around and upgrading them is pretty good and definitely adds to the strategy experience. I would certainly recommend this for the true CoH2 singleplayer experience along with this DLC's DLC: Fox Company Rangers. I will say it can be tough at points because the Battle of the Bulge was brutal, but it's honestly not that bad. You can always withdraw from a conflict and go in with a different squad instead with knowledge of the enemy setup.

Solid game here. Sunk maybe 25~ hours on the story mode alone. Good story that really hit in the ending. Gameplay is great. It's different and refreshing to have squads rather than expendable units like other RTS games. That did take a little getting used to, but once I did it was the best. I also began to use more abilities, like grenades, AT grenades, smoke, etc that comes with different squads. Good stuff. The gameplay can get pretty intense real quick.

Played through the Ardennes Assault DLC, which is even better than the main campaign. Been playing multi-player since and it's good fun. I really like how they rank you differently not only for each faction but each game mode with each faction. The first 10 'placement' games were a mixed bag of ranked players, but not as bad as I expected.

The mods, maps, community (minus the occasional troll), and competitive screen are all great.

At 160+ hours now, I may say that this is replacing C&C Generals: Zero Hour as my favorite RTS game.

A master class on how remasters should be done honestly. Definitely feels like the old games, but with a visual (optional) overhaul and modern control options. I played the original RA on PC and C&C (Also called Tiberium Dawn) on PS1, the former receiving the most game time. Being able to switch between the old and touched up graphics on the fly is great. Bundling all DLC and exclusive content is great as well. Excellent mod and custom map support. Can't wait for TS and RA2!

Not as great as HL2 or Ep2, but a bridge between the two and worth a playthrough.

Feels like it's missing the spark that makes TF2 so great. But still a great time if you get 3 friends together for some co-op.
