What if there was a Dragon Quest game with a beautiful world to explore, but every 10 steps you take you have to fight with monsters for 2 minutes with basically only 1 or 2 possible strategies. Over and over again. Now imagine every treasure chest you open is kind of meaningless and gear upgrades are sparce. The story is also weak compared to other DQ games. I really wanted to like this game, but I can only recommend it to hardcore grinders who want to suffer through an endless slop of slow battles for little reward.

Soul Dossier is a better asymmetrical game than Dead by Daylight, but only in terms of gameplay. The gameplay is a lot more in-depth and challenging, as each character has their own mechanics that considerably change how you play. ''Camping'' and ''tunneling'' are also not prevalent tactics in this game, nor do you have to hold M1 for 90 seconds on the objective. The game definitely takes over 100 hours to learn properly.
Unfortunately, the game only has Asian servers, so westerners will have around 250 ping. It's possible to use certain gaming VPNs to reduce it to a stable 200, which is playable enough, but they require a monthly fee. On the plus side, you get to interact with a lot of Chinese people, which can be fun if you want to learn their language(s). Lastly, the game is ''plagued'' by sexualization, but this is an optional aspect of the game (e.g., there are purchasable revealing outfits) and does not impact normal gameplay.

I play DbD when I'm feeling down, to remind myself my worries aren't as bad as the problems of this game 🤠

A high-action third-person MOBA that reward players with good movement- and aiming skills. During a match, it is possible to use flavourful voice lines to communicate and strategise with your team, which makes the game feel more social. Smite has several different game modes, that can keep things fresh for when you get bored of the main mode.
