-> Controll Panel

-> Windows Firewall

-> Allow an app through Firewall (or something like that. I don't have english Windows installed, it's second item on the lift on the left side if the window)

-> if everything is grayed out click on change settings (top right). You need admin privileges to do it

-> look for Java(TM) Platform Binary

-> Make sure every checkbox for every Java entry is checked (both on the left and those 2 on the right)

-> If you don't see Java there (you should, as Java installer makes sure it is there, but just in case you don't) click on Allow other app

-> point to Java install location (usually C:/Program Files (or Program Files(x86) ) /Java/jre [Version]) go to bin and double click on java.exe (you may see only java without .exe. That is the correct one, your system just hides file extensions).
