It's as if Surviving Mars and The Settlers had a baby that is now in its weird teenage years and doesn't quite know who it wants to be when it grows up so it's experimenting with mild hallucinogenics and tower defense.

Overall it feels like a "late-stage Early Access" game (writing this a couple days after the release), needs some polishing up and definitely a good tutorial or at least a better explanation of game systems in the in-game wiki. There are a few glitches and the pacing of the story in the campaign feels off at times, some dialogs pop up seemingly out of order, but I like the idea overall.

I had really high hopes for this game, but was sorely dissapointed. Lots of clicking, lots of waiting. Graphics look like they came from some browser-based abomination. Not worthy of a god at all...

a great 4X game that just keeps on getting better with each DLC, can't wait for the latest one
