Ultimately, I do believe that at its core, this is a great game. The lore that surrounds it was interesting and captivating, the different types of weapons and classes available in both the campaign and the co-op operation missions are great fun and the executions are right up there with DOOM levels of awesome.

However, I cannot recommend this game in its current state. The amount of incredibly annoying bugs that I have come across have completely ruined my experience for this game. Some of these bugs include:

-Hitting a checkpoint, running forward and dying, respawning at the checkpoint with the same ammo and weapons that you had when you had JUST died in that attempt (which technically never happened, cause checkpoint).
- Dying and respawning with the muffled sounds as if you were still down.
-On the third mission, me and my friends were getting swarmed by a mechanic despite having the needed item to get through it and firing DIRECTLY at them.

Then there's the matter of the grind for the currency. Upon completing an operation on the lowest difficulty (simply to see what the mission was like and to gauge the difficulty), we received 35 requisitions for a 30 minute missions. As it costs 30 for an emblem, 40 for paints and more, this feels a little too steep for a more casual player in my opinion. Of course, it was the lowest difficulty, so I understand that.

The campaign on Veteran and above is damn near impossible with the AI members. They tank a hell of a lot of damage, but they're fairly brainless outside of being sponges for damage. If you have friends to play this with, it makes it infinitely more enjoyable.

Overall, I think this game has redeeming qualities and I look forward to seeing what they do with it over time. But for now, I would only buy this on a hefty sale.

I'll try my best to sum it up. I don't have a huge amount of hours but this is my opinion of it.

Basically, this is a great game to play if you've got people to play with. You and three of your friends can go online and try to survive against a random killer and have fun escaping him. Or if there is 5 of you, a private server is always a great way to pass a few hours laughing with your friends.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the game, there's not a huge amount of replayablitlity. Granted, there are four killers to play and all of the survivors have unique abilities if you play them long enough but honestly, you need to play a long time to unlock them. I've only hit level 8 or so on one survivor and not much really came out of it.

If you're looking for a fun game to play with friends, this will do you well. However, I wouldn't put money on this keeping you occupied for a long time. But it's still worth playing nonetheless. I would recommend playing the free weekends of this game to experience it first.
