This is possibly one of the most rewarding 'games' on Steam.
Achieving the 'end-game' here will result in real life success.
This is one of the only games where people who don't play it will praise you for your progress.
This is one of the only games that can help you in real-world applications (I'm an electrician who uses this to visualize job sites and installations).
This is the only game where women will flock to you for your skill.

The learning curve is huge. The progress you make will be slow. But I promise you that you'll feel a sense of achievement from turning that basic cube into something more.

If you want a free piece of software that can do everything Maya and Cinema4D can do (they cost $2000 USD+), then you've got it.
If you want to make a game but you don't know where to start, start here. Before anything, you should learn how to make 3D models for said games.
If you want to make a short film but can't find actors, the best thing to do would be to learn 3D animation (which this software strives in).

12/10 - This software changed my outlook on life.

This review made me start Blender. I always saw the animations that Blizzard and Pixar made and was fascinated by the skill and craftsmanship that went into them. I was dazzled but never thought I could ever do anything remotely close to that. I couldn't afford a program and I was busy in school. But reading this, and finding a free program (Blender) made me start my 3d artistry journey. Thank you for making me find something I love and finally committing to it.
