This game is fantastic, probably one of my favourite metroidvania platformers. It has some absolutely amazing map exploration and level design, which is what completely hooked me.

Other than that, the atmosphere and art style are beautiful, The bosses and npcs all have reallly interesting personalities, very darksouls-esque in that their story lines are disjointed but you can still follow them around the map and they influence eachother. The general enemies will surprise you and make you laugh at the clever designs related to bug themes. And the combat/platforming is really smooth and gets more complex as the game progresses (in terms of learning new abilities, equipping new "charms" etc).

Would definitely recommend

There is huge mouse lag with the camera and you can only make it bearable by reducing the Pursuit Speed to zero and increasing the vertical/horizontal speed of the camera significantly.

Also I am constantly patting my little robot buddy in the middle of fights because moving left/right with the mouse somehow mimicks the input of swiping the PS4 touchpad.

There are further issues with graphics, resolution at 1440p does not work. And 1080 resolution does not render truly at 1080p. The game is locked at 60fps and cutscenes at 30fps which have constant microstutter.

I would definitely not consider this a good port. Other than that the game is very good.
