I used to be the person who despised world of warcraft for it's dull gameplay and crappy everything. It made me HATE tab target MMO's. I wouldn't touch them. One year I decide to try the free trial for FFXIV, and it was okay, I dropped it. I picked it up with a couple of friends another year later, blitz'd through ARR and got to Heavenward. I was hooked. I never got the appeal of MMO's, or hell even RPG's until I hit this point in FFXIV. Here I am now, 2 years after that with over 1000 hours just waiting for the next expansion. This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible and the team behind it seems to be really passionate in a genuine way. I highly recommend it for the story alone.
