Dont get fooled by my lower play time i already sinked over 100 hours into this game on x360 and i sinked even more into the first Dark souls. So what do i think of DS2 and ultimately of this enhanced version? Well i am kinda thorn when it comes to this game - Gameplay wise it is a big jump forward from already great game, graphics are gorgoeus (but art style misses what made Dark Souls 1 so Breathtaking) and it a great port unlike DS1. But...there is always but...its lost that WoW factor Dark Souls had, the bosses are quantity over quality, many of them are jsut boring generic enemies with more health. Locations are beautifull but some of them not as stunning, but what i do adore is the sense of having more paths and locations at once to explore which made first Dark Souls so good. Also the dificulty is kinda hard to talk about...bosses are sometimes total jokes, but regulard enemies can still rip you a new one in a blink of an eye. But i lvoe what this version did with new enemy placement, it immidiately gave me a reason to play through this game again. So in the end i must recommend this game, its a well made game, great port a big improvement over the original DS2 even though it lacks some of the things that made Dark Souls so special to me. So its not only sequel but its also second best DS right after the Prepare to die edition of the first game which is just one of the best games ever made. But a big reason to get this game - It will ease the pain from waiting for Dark Souls 3 which looks absolutely amazing! Cant wait for that bad boy.

So i dont write reviews very often but this game is a gem to me...back when i still had my X360 i wished for this game so hard and when i finally saved some money and bought it i was just amazed. For a japan game it has wonderfull and at places even dark atmosphere especialy once you get to bitterblack island when you will get your ass handed to you on silver plate. I played this game after nearly beating Dark Souls and sinking nearly 300 hours into it with multiple characters and i gotta say this game is similar in many ways...the combat especialy in later stages doesnt hold your hands (♥♥♥ the dragons -_-) and when you venture out at night bring your brown pants with you...and god that Post End game event...it gives the game whole new and dark feel. There is just not a lot that i didnt love about this game back then and even after all that time when it was polished a bit my love for this game is as passionate as it used to be. Also the quality of the port is stunning for such an old and japanese game...you can even rebind frikkin controller if you have direct input one O.O i was like whaaaaaat when i saw it...the framerate never goes down on me so far and my computer is not a total beast...and i know it should be sure thing with an older game but i have seen many butchered ports so i am happy to say that this one doesnt belong among them. For me this is totally a 10/10 - whoever liked the original game...GET THIS THING NOW...whoever wants to be a badass archer who is climbing on a frikkin chimmera and cutting its goat head of...GET IT TOO...And last thing...this game has like the longest "final" boss fight from all the games i ever played...god my ballz were drippin with sweat during that ♥♥♥♥ o.o

This game...this game really filled out that hole that was left in me after L4D more or less died...never really got into the sequel so i was waiting for something like this. And now its here and i think this game can be something even better than L4D if it will actually expand and maybe just maybe will ad community maps and mods. But even now without those things this game is really fun, the combat is responsive and once you stop just mashing buttons you can pull out some cool things, Characters got cool chemistry between them and the design is jsut awesome...only thing that brings the game down is the frikkin optimalization. I have pretty good computer and i am playing on medium settings and sometimes even that is problem...but i hope for some patches and also Nvidia should do something about it.

Skvělá hra,která je vybalancovaná právě tim, že každej tým má svoje možnosti, výhody a nevýhody...Skvělej tým lidí k sobě nepustí upíry ani na krok a skvělej tým upírů rozdupe lidi společně v jednom útoku. Hra se vyvijí dost slibně a už teď člověka zabaví na dost dlouho,jedinej problém jsou často lidi co tuhle hru hrajou, stěžujou si na špatný tým do chattu místo toho aby hráli a nebo leavnou jakmile druhý tým vede aspoň o pět.
