This demo isn't the best for showing off what seems like a cool game. Too many random things to do with too many text boxes which don't exactly explain things well (but maybe I just went to the wrong sign, hard to tell because there are so many). I eventually started running through the desert, thought I would be able to run through it much faster but no. Maybe I missed some sort of vehicle, I'm not sure, again, it wasn't obvious. The demo needs a little more structure and perhaps some resident evil yellow paint. I'd be willing to try it again if it gets updated.

no honestly I couldn't even see the NPC for a hot minute, she's like a bundle of twigs that blends into the surroundings

To clarify anyone stating that I didn't read stuff or talk to anyone. I most certainly read some of the signs and such, but there were so many in one little area that it immediately put me off. I had no idea what this game was going into it, loading it up and seeing a bunch of tutorials at once just made me not want to read them. The game requires a better flow to teach you each little thing. I'm more than happy to give it another go but this is my first impression.

Did you read ANY of the signs or talk to the NPC? Talk to her, catch the fish in the lake and she'll give a way to ski across the sands.

Yeah, people are way to harsh on you. Like, I'm sure your experience is bewildering, but it's also the kind of thing you try to catch in QA.

I'm not even a developer, but I'd be curious to find out how you missed the NPC.

You give steam users a bad rep with reviews like this. If you cant read or have 0 patience, the game isnt for you. Just delete the review.

There's an NPC like 5 feet from where you start that guides you through the tutorial up to the desert, who then gives you the ability to summon creatures that you can use to surf through the desert. I genuinely don't know how you missed this.

Luckily you did miss a vehicle. You’re given a flute first thing, press Y to use it.
