Todd Howard wanted Starfield to be "The Space Game", but that's a title I feel has to go to Outer Wilds. It's a game absolutely in awe of space and the wonder found within our universe. It is a game, top to bottom, about space and how it works.

I really, really wanted to like this game, but it's just so lacking in quality of life features that I can't really play it anymore. Basic features, such as kicking, were in Left 4 Dead on launch back in 2008, so lacking in them in a 2023 release is frankly inexcusable.

I checked for myself and it's impossible to get into a casual mode game without encountering bots.
