I already own this on Switch but got it here because the overall experience more stable, and this was the first time I realized that Digital Eclipse was a force to be reckoned with in the compilation arena. While others churn out basic (if competently emulated) games for the Western market, Digital Eclipse made this experience into not only a who's who of pre-Neo Geo SNK games, but also included a nice history of the company, along with information on games released during this period. It's a great reminder for those that either forgot or don't remember that SNK had a life before Neo Geo cabinets. Features typically include both Arcade and Console games (where applicable) as well as a handy "watch" mode (which also allows one to take over at any time) and some DIP switch options and Region switching.

Playable games included are:

- Alpha Mission (Arcade and NES)
- Athena (Arcade and NES)
- Beast Busters (Arcade)
- Bermuda Triangle (Arcade)
- Chopper I (Arcade)
- Crystalis (NES)
- Fantasy (Arcade)
- GuerrIilla War (Arcade and NES)
- Ikari Warriors (Arcade and NES)
- Ikari Warriors 2 (Arcade and NES)
- Ikari III (Arcade and NES)
- Iron Tank (NES)
- Munch Mobile (Arcade)
- Ozma Wars (Arcade)
- Paddle Wars (Arcade)
- P.O.W. (Arcade and NES)
- Prehistoric Isle (Arcade)
- Psycho Soldier (Arcade)
- Search and Rescue (Arcade)
- Sasuke and Commander (Arcade)
- Street Smart (Arcade)
- Time Soldiers (Arcade)
- TNKIII (Arcade)
- Vanguard (Arcade)
- World Wars (Arcade)

Has more great interviews with my favorites being from Evelyn Seto and her talks on part on the graphic design. The Alcorn on Breakout has slightly different info than I remember reading about from different sources. But the games are where it's at on this one, with Berzerk and Frenzy arcade being the headliners for me. Also contains the original 2600 port of Berzerk (which is a fun game to just play mindlessly for high score), as well as a very nice voice enhanced port, with some extra (and welcome) extra challenge. Overall highly recommended for fans of the day, as well as those that are curious.

Deck performance is still great, though still lacking that 16x10 ratio

Has some great interviews as well as a bunch of the "M Network" 2600 games for play, most of which I've never experienced (which is nice). Overall the quality is extremely high, exactly as I would expect from Digital Eclipse. I would have liked to also get at least some of the Intellivision titles to play, but in the modern licensing climate I imagine that's next to impossible.

Plays very well on the Deck, with only the 1280x800 resolution (or really any 16x10) missing

Oh, it's Vay! Well, this was a mediocre and very old school RPG, even when it was released. But here we are in the modern day and while it is still mediocre, it's still quite playable and rolls at a very quick pace.

There are some nice QoL improvements, such as turning off random battles, XP and money multipliers, increasing battle speed, and Hard mode (which feels more like the original). And none of the crap Squenix pulled in FF7: All of these are controlled with switches in the submenu.

Despite it's mediocrity, I am recommending this game. It is very affordable (even when not on sale), it scales nicely on the verticle, and works with Steam Deck out of the box. But my greatest advice? Turn off dithering in Settings (within an active game), as it softens the image

A great port of simple but fun Famicom title. with a ton of unlockables that make you want to replay again and again. Also, works great on the Deck

Plays on the Deck out of the box. Only issue I saw was remapping controls were not reflected in submenus for trading and activating cards. Overall fun game and is made to accommodate all skill levels.

I don't have a lot of games for CAS, but I did enjoy popping in and playing them whenever I got the urge to do so. Now I have to uninstall, because for some strange reason it appears that the publisher has updated with a new DRM that comes from a very shady source. I do want to be clear that I don't have a problem with DRM in the slightest as long as it doesn't get in the way of my gaming. I choose to play the majority of my games on Steam, and some of them have other DRM attached.

But I do have to draw the line when it comes to my own security, and there just isn't enough known about this new DRM outside of it coming from a company that offers it at thrift store prices, which is apparently the price that Capcom has put on my continued business. I do not wish to have strange and suspect applications sitting on my PC and scanning memory because Capcom is afraid I will mod Bionic Commando.

Because I don't have the ability to control updates and I cannot get a refund on any of them, I will uninstall all Capcom games on my Steam Deck and computers until this silliness ends, one way or another.

Simply put, if you are a big fan of Drakkhen on SNES you will probably not like this game. The 2D story and battle elements feel loose and generic, the 3D engine looks inferior and pixelated compared to the SNES Drakkhen (which looked poly), and the soundtrack is a generic boring SNES reverb-laden fantasy soundtrack. Dragonview is just generic, in my opinion, and not worth the time of anyone.

Grabbed this game based on a recommendation from SplatterCat on Youtube and man this is fun. Action is good and is often challenging, forcing you to either change your tactics or your GB (robot) or weapons load out. Story is nothing special and simple but I still found it engaging enough to turn off whatever I had as background on my phone. especially as I got towards the end of the game. Played entirely on my Steam Deck and it was fine, though I did have to turn on Proton. There is a native build for Linux but the models get super buggy

Proof that you don't have to play a front page featured AAA game to net some entertainment on Steam. Not super scary but has s few "!" and "Oh..." moments. It says 15-20min that that is for a single playthough. There are a bunch of endings, all worth the time to seek out.

Also works great on the Deck. Starts in native resolution and uses the right touchpad/stick for look, "B" open doors, "Y" activates the flashlight, and right trigger does some context things.

Awesome game. Get it.
